The thing that I noticed most in that red zone clip was how quickly Winston got the ball out of his hands. Like all young QB’s he struggled in the red zone last season and it was mostly due to the limited space and how quickly QB’s have to see the field and get rid of the ball in that area. Based on what I saw in that one play he seems to have made progress in that area.

I don’t like that play. You may be able to do it once or twice, but once teams watch a single tape, they will be ready to jump that pass, and given the low trajectory of the ball, wouldn’t be hard to bat away or pick.

The blown call is an incomplete pass. He didn’t get his second foot down.

Ya, he didn’t get his left foot down but still a nice play. Hope to see that play during the regular season.
