Jameis: “I Do Believe I Look Good”

Back and beautiful for 2016

The body of America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, was a topic of discussion at One Buc Palace this afternoon.

Jameis was talking and head coach Dirk Koetter offered a fair warning.

Koetter addressed media before Jameis did and let everyone know Jameis’ body would look like it got an upgrade. Koetter smiled talking about his quarterback’s offseason drive and workouts “off-campus” and alone at One Buc Palace.

When Jameis rolled in, it was obvious. His upper body was bigger, and Jameis proclaimed, “I do believe I look good.” It was reminiscent of his famous words at the NFL Scouting Combine last year, “I look good and I know it.”

Walking off the One Buc Palace podium, Jameis joked and seemed to say “230, gettin’ slimmer.”

It’s great to see the results of Jameis’ commitment. It probably won’t make him a better passer, but it might be critical if Jameis continues to throw lead blocks, dive into end zones and run with zero regard for his health on 3rd-and-19.

Now that he is taking better care of his body, his diet will improve from FSU mealplan Jameis, to personal chef Jameis…but remember…its the body of work on the field that matters most!
Year two should be even more fun ….go bucs!

Especially with that Buccaneers logo on your chest. Let’s hope Jaboo is sporting that same look 15 years from now. (But hopefully in a different Bucs uniform and very soon. I’m used to the new look now – but its still SUCKS!)
