Jameis, Bucs Back To Work

April 11th, 2016
Time to work.

Time to work.

By the time you begin to read this here story, Joe is confident America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, has not only gone through a rigorous weight session, he already has watched a couple of hours of film, too.

That’s how Jameis rolls.

Today marks the return of the Bucs as a team and the start of their offseason program, the embryonic steps to be ready for the 2016 kickoff. New coaches meet veterans. Returning players welcome newcomers.

Then it’s time for conditioning and tape study and meetings.

Naturally, Joe will be at One Buc Palace today. Not only is new Bucs coach Dirk Koetter expected to speak, so too will Jameis, at last that’s what is planned. There could be more too, maybe assistant coaches. Joe will know more later.

So stick around these here corner of the interwebs all day, as Joe brings you fresh Bucs copy straight from the mouths of Bucs players. In the meantime, Mike DiRocco of BSPN explains what Jameis’ goal is for offseason workouts.

There’s not a harder worker on that roster that I know of and that’s a very incouraging sign if your a bucs fan. James is willing to work his @$$ off to become the best in the business. And hey, you never know, Tom Brady isn’t gonna be around to much longer so someone has to take over that role as being the best in the league by working his tail off to get there.

We all know Jameis has the tools to do it and he’s showing he’s willing to work hard to become one of the elite. It’s VERY exciting to witness greatness and see just how good this kid can become.

There’s a lot of good QB’s but not all of them are willing to work hard to become greater and Jameis shows that he will not settle on being good, he wants to become one of the greatest.

Demboys I believe it was Griden that asked him last year what QB in the league reminds him of his self or something of the sort. Out respect he didn’t say Brady because he knows he’s not in that stratosphere.(Yet) He said Andrew Luck, but my personal belief is he is driven to be the next Brady.

It’s funny because a few weeks ago we had a falcon fan post here on jbf. Dude says in ATL they’re already calling him “Black Brady”all I could do was😀And tell myself people see us coming, people see us coming.

To have a player with that work ethic is great. We need that in the worst way. But to have a quarterback with that work ethic is nothing short of astounding! We never had a qb with that kind of drive before, not to mention the skill set Jameis brings to the field.
We may finally have our quarterback after all of these years.

Watching the Winston press conference right now and he has clearly put on more muscle, nice to see him working hard to improve himself.

ESPN showed part of his presser along with touchdown highlights from last season a few minutes ago. I was pleasantly surprised!
