Jameis Talks To Joe In Hawaii. Video and more below.

The moment America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, got the call for the Pro Bowl, Joe wrote about what a valuable experience it would be for him.

Jameis isn’t just a sponge. He’s a sponge with a mission to achieve greatness.

In an exclusive Pro Bowl chat with JoeBucsFan.com yesterday, Joe asked Jameis whether he had a specific learning plan in place at the Pro Bowl. Jameis’ face turned serious.

“Absolutely,” he said. “Every conversation that I can have, especially with veteran guys, guys that have been here way more times than me, I’m going to talk to them and try to get some wisdom from them.”

Watch Part I of Jameis’ interview with Joe below. Part II is coming later this morning. Part III is next week.

Its amazing how much more media savy Jameis is now then a few years back. Back then he would have been giddy at being there and acting silly. He seems to have learned the lesson to not give the haters any ammunition.

Tough gig Joes a trip to Hawaii to report on the Buccanners there. Do you need any help? Someone to carry your bags, help you home after a night out drinking at the local watering hole? Lol.

Great experience for our QB and our other players there in Hawaii. As wonderful as the pro bowl is I hope all our players declibe their invitations next season because we are going to that other bowl game, the Super Bowl.

Dreambig I agree with you that he is more media savvy. But you posted a clip after a down to the wire game between two top ten teams. Maybe if you found a clip of him being silly when interviewed after a FSU practice the comp would work better.

It’s got to be great to be #3 right now. I feel certain on a personal level he feels sorry for Lovie, as most of us here do. But on a professional level this has to be great news!!!

Last year he came into the league with a rep for ints. His ragged start intensified the scrutiny. He listened to Koetter and cut his ints dramatically. He learned last year in the NFL that protecting the ball is job 1!!!

I think he gained Koetter’s confidence last year. It’s clear from the choice of Koetter’s assistants and Koetter’s own comments that this year they’re going to take the wraps off of their star pupil and let him go out and try to win some games.

Seriously…not to kick a man when he’s down but Lovie was the old fashioned football coach who played to not lose.

That is NOT #3’s style nor is it Koetter’s. They both play to win!

I couldn’t be more excited. I hate watching pound the rock…great D..win the game 14-13.

If Bell works out or we find another deep threat to take the cap off of the back end of opposing defenses with #3’s gun can you imagine what that does for the other Bucs like Mike Evans and ASJ…and of course it’s easier to get Martins some holes as well when you’re not facing a steady diet of 8 in the box.

Those were some lazy @$$ drills in that video! lol.

What, do they think they are on vacation or something????

    Pro. Bowl. Sucks.

    But the players are cool.

    @StPeteBucsFan

Bell is not going to be a great WR. What he CAN be is a great returner, IF a coach is willing to give him enough experience at it to develop that way.

Well…I suppose our new WR/OC Coach might turn him into a sturdy WR at least.

Bell was on my wishlist…but not for his receiving skills. The kid is a born returner…and underrated.

Well I’ll be happy if he turns out to be a great returner. I think our WR’s..if they return healthy…play to their ability…are actually already an excellent group.

ME..VJAX…Murphy if he’s healthy..ASJ..if he grows up and regains his health…
then you have Brate and Humphries as capable backups.

What is missing is Joey Galloway speed. Dontae Dye has it but he has undependable hands…if Bell is not it…where would you suggest we get our burner?

  10. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

    @StPeteBucsFan

Joey Galloway speed and Joey Galloway hands.

I actually would not mind a Keyshawn Johnson position WR and an Ike Hilliard “Mr Reliable” guy…on top of a fast guy.

    You

  11. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

    Opps, stupid laptop pad….

You realize Vincent Jackson and Adam Humphries are the only WRs on this team that don’t care about getting hit?

That’s why ME has so many drops, for example.

  12. StPeteBucsFan Says:

    BB

When he’s healthy I feel like Louis Murphy is a poor man’s Ike Hilliard.

Of course he’s a St. Pete guy so there is a certain prejudice there.

I still have hope in Adam Humphries continued growth as a dependable set of hands for 3rd down.

Glad to hear Jameis mention his girlfriend. He needs to be hooked up with one girl–keep him away from the unhealthy opportunists out there.
