I voted little confidence, but hey that’s still not no confidence.

  2. McClorasMaddenDaddy210 Says:

Damn I’m trying to stay positive here, Cmon Lovie.

  3. JollyBucsFan Says:

No confidence whatsoever. Lovie is a complete joke. Please explain the myriad of utterly confusing and perplexing choices he has made all year. I really want to see someone call him out directly why he has made it his personal goal to ruin a talented young CB in Johnthan Banks.

Time for Lovie the Loser to head back to his Momma’s basement.

In the name of the Koetter, the Licht, and the Holy Jameis, Amen

  4. CaptainStagger Says:

Who are these 30% that have faith in this loser????

  5. Tampa Tony Says:

No confidence since the Washington loss

    Loser Lovie sucks!!!

  6. The Buc Realist Says:

No confidence since lovie gifted a job to McCown!!!!!

  7. ruggyup Says:

Lovie may be a decent coach, or not, but his energies are inarguably diffused carrying two principal titles with a professional team.

  8. Alanbucs Says:

Not saying that Lovie Smith is the greatest coach ever, but who else are we going to bring in to magically turn this time into a playoff team in two years with a rookie QB and very young surrounding cast. Cmon people think!!

  9. 911bucs Says:

    @Alan
So you think Lovie will have this team playoff ready in two years? Haha lol, no f’ing way. This type of defense must go and the only way that will happen is to get rid of Lovie.

  10. ATrain Says:

I Love the “Who are we going to bring in argument ” to keep Lovie..

Holy Crap we brought him in when No one else was looking for him..HE WAS IN A BASEMENT…

Doing the same thing over and over again expecting the out come to change is the difinition of INSANITY!

  11. McClorasMaddenDaddy210 Says:

    @911
This defense works. Other teams employ the same system. IMHO, the lack of talent, poor coaching is the issue. Hell, too many coaches from what we hear. I voted little confidence. I’ll admit this defense was so disappointing to watch. But the man gets one more year in my book. But yea I’m not happy

  12. Buc1987 Says:

    Lovie’s going to stay anyways…

6-10 next season too. Yipeeee, pretty soon there will be only a few hundred fans in the stands.

Malcolm is probably going to roll over in his grave for the 100th time.

If Lovie were fired can you imagine the buzz, hype, and excitement it would bring to this organization and fans?

  14. ATLBucsFan Says:

Successful leaders have excellent support staff that is the real reason they are successful. Lovie needs a better defensive staff coaching several positions that can teach and elevate the players performance.

  15. Tampa Tony Says:

Who can do better? How about who can do worse? Especially when you see first year coaches in Quinn and Bowles do way better than loser Lovie, I’ll take my chances with a new coach over a proven loser

  16. ATrain Says:

Lovie Brought in his coaching staff…
What makes you think he can bring in quality staff..

    Dirk was a no brainer…

Lovie has played players who suck(Jennings,Jenkins)

Has let players go with no replacements (Baron) who blow us up.

It’s the leader Sorry but the Bucs git rid of Schiano who could have possibly done something giving time.

But we give time to this..Hahah

  17. MikeinTempleTerrace Says:

To the “you have to be patient crowd”: Forgive us fans who are tired of losing. 8 years of no playoffs tend to do that. And to the “we need more talent crowd”: That argument falls on deaf ears when the one who put this collection of talent together is the one coaching said talent. And we’re supposed to have faith in the guy who thought Michael Johnson, Anthony Collins, Mike Jenkins & Tim Jennings were good football players to draft & develop this big defensive draft that we’re gonna have in ’16? No thanks. My final point is 8-23, soon to be 8-24. #FireLovie

  18. BrianBucs Says:

    Lovie Smith – 8-23 – Enough said

  19. ndog Says:

Again I don’t love Lovie but really folks this defense has no talent because we haven’t drafted in the past two years. I mean all we have for talent is McCoy, who’s always hurt, LVD and a rookie in Kwon. I mean with the likes of J Smith, G Johnson, S Moore, and C Conte what should we expect. And before everyone says well Lovie picked these guys yes he did from the list of crap players that were available because we have not drafted any players on d.

  20. Willy D Buc Says:

    Hey Joe,
How about a confidence poll for Dirk Koetter? That would be interesting…
    Thank you.

  21. cmurda Says:

My, oh my (In my best Dorothy voice) have the numbers changed from 6 weeks ago.

  22. Greg Says:

No confidence but I fully understand why he’s gonna come back next year, expect the defense to not make any progress while lovie gets way too much credit for a good offense next year, hopefully the glazers realize that the team won’t get anywhere under lovie and pull the plug (wouldn’t mind koetter being the hc)

  23. T REX Says:

Lovie has one playoff trip in the past nine seasons.

That is the definition of the suck.

Expect him to make it a cool decade.

  24. Lord Cornelius Says:

Lol Realist should check this out and re-apply his definition of sheep.

The sheep are the ones who change their vote on this poll week to week based on how good or bad we have done in a short term sample. These ppl are fine with Smith one week and then think he is terrible another. The ppl who have stayed the course with their overall opinion are less sheep like by definition. Not to mention the obvious fact that the couple posters that hardcore defend Lovie (mainly only Onelove comes to mind) are far outweighed by the ppl that bash him every day

  25. Buccfan37 Says:

To each their own according to the level of team suck.

  26. Alanbucs Says:

It’s funny how many don’t seem to understand how firing coaches every 3-4 years sets your team back. We have to start a culture of drafting good players (the last two Buc drafts were good) and keeping them here with the same staff. So glad you guys aren’t GMs!

  27. Mike10 Says:

Ok, it’s safe to say that if you voted “very confident” you don’t know anything about football. But your on a Bucs blog site which is like someone that doesn’t speak English picking up the Wall Street journal… So continue on to tmz.com
