“To Get Alexander To Smile”

Helping out local kids.

Helping out local kids.

Yes, on his day off yesterday, America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, was at All Children’s Hospital visiting kids.

Joe encourages you to watch this TBO.com highlight video of the happening. It features Jameis and other Bucs rookies taking their best shot at singing a Christmas carol for a boy in his hospital bed.

Jameis will not quit (like his teammates do), and Jameis improvises a bit to accomplish his goal.

Special stuff.

“that winston guy is such a thug” LOL such a great dude & glad to have him!

  3. Patrick in VA Says:

Shouldn’t Derrick Brooks have been there to chaperone Jameis and make sure that he didn’t do anything awful or embarrassing when he wasn’t on the field?

  4. Johnny "America's Commenter" Dejay Says:

At least we know the Bucs don’t have to worry about losing him to a career in music… But seriously, the young man continues to impress us.

  5. Tnew Says:

Friend of mine ran into Jameis last night. He was unwinding somewhere that wasn’t a bar or strip club or anything like that. (I’m not giving out the place but, lets just say I’ve taken my kids to Birthday parties there) Said he was the most disarming guy he’d ever been around especially considering he is a 21 year old with a city in the palm of his hand.

  6. Trubucfan22 Says:

It’s not exactly his choice to go and do these things. The bucs organize it. But it’s awesome to see him doing his best at everything he does. He isn’t just there to be there. He is genuinely trying to impact these kids days. I wouldn’t expect anything less from 3.

    THUG LIFE!!!

  8. Buc4Lyfe Says:

Of course it is his choice… He is a grown ass man. Not like you see JFF doing this stuff.

  9. Love and Warrick Dunn Says:

Suck it Curtis Gatorboy! There’s your “thug”.

  10. Joe Cool Says:

    GOAT.

  11. MadMax Says:

F U Jameis haters! Sucks to be you!

  12. Bobby Says:

There’s a verse in the Bible that says:

“When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.”

This seems to be Jameis. He did some foolish things at FSU (some of them just not true) but he has seized his opportunity in the NFL and realizes the gravity of the situation. He has shown that he is a man now, capable of leading other men and conducting himself in a manner that will make his coaches, his teammates, and his fans proud and happy to have him as our franchise QB.

Where do I find the video of him talking on a phone like the pic shows. I am extremely curious now!

    PS:
Anyone know a secret remedy to get rid of a migraine?????

  14. Buc1987 Says:

Phenomenal video. My kid was at All Childrens for the first 3 months of her life. Those people do wonders at that hospital. If anyone ever asks whether you want to donate any money to All Childrens, please do it. It’s the only thing I ever donate to.

Anyone know a secret remedy to get rid of a migraine?????

BucBonzai…I do not get migraines but my wife does. She SWEARS by one technique…if I give her oral the migraine goes away. SERIOUSLY!!!

I don’t get migraines so I do not know if that works for guys but it’s certainly worth finding out!!!!! See if wifey won’t provide the cure.

As for #3’s charity…it’s all good!!! A reminder in this Holiday season to all.
We’ve all heard the saying it is better to give than receive…especially if your wife has a migraine…LOL

Seriously #3 is getting compensated for this in ways that you too can find out.
This is not to diminish his activities at all…he’s smart enough to have figured it out and I love Bobby’s verse. That’s how I see it with #3 as well. He simply needed to grow up.

For those of you interested in finding out how great it is to give…sign up somewhere. I’ve signed up at St Vincent dPaul’s here in St. Pete to help them feed homeless people. I’m not bragging at all…I don’t do it to be a great guy..I do it for the reward I receive. It’s awesome. Some of you perhaps already help at places like Metropolitan Ministries…Salvation Army etc.

We’re not famous so visiting hospitals is not as cool for us as Fameis #3…but there are plenty of areas to help for all of us.

Happy Holidays to everyone on this board…yes even you trolls!!! 🙂

@Bonzai, Ice packs on both wrists, a dark room, sleep blinders and ear plugs…and it really helps if a few doses of nyquil are involved.

  17. 813bucboi Says:

@bonzai…try Excedrin…i get migraines often and i take 2 Excedrin pills its gone within 30-40minutes…just put something on your stomach before doing so…my wife always drinks a sprit and lays down for about 45minutes and it goes away for her….GO BUCS!!!!

  18. StPeteBucsFan Says:

BTW So as to not offend anybody’s sensibilities…not only Happy Holidays…but Merry Christmas…I’m not at war. LOL

  19. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

Glad he is here with the bucs as the team moves to a hopefully positive winning chapter in the franchise, and everyone needs to remember he is 21 with a ton of cash, so he will be here or there having a good time and people will bait him all over, just hope he turns the other cheek, but from what I have seen from him and his character on the field thus far he seem,s like someone who genuinely is thankful for the opportunity to play professional football and that is refreshing in this day and age
