The Big Dog, Steve Duemig

Joe was back in the steel cage with Steve Duemig, The Big Dog of WDAE-AM 620, this evening for the popular JoeBucsFan Hour.

Enjoy!

For those wondering, the baby occasionally crying in the background is with a customer at the jewelry store where the live broadcast was held.

A silver lining to the ASJ injury is the acquisition, development & play of Cameron Brate…..because of that, we will probably go with 4 TEs next year or will cut or trade Meyers or Stocker.

[Now, now now. You know Joe’s rules about going after iHeartRadio on-air talent. You can disagree with their takes all day and all night long. Get personal and/or call names, not only does your comment get deleted, but it is a bannable offense. Joe appreciates your kind words and to be honest, you answered your own question in the first sentence. Thanks — Joe.]

I love having them on there because of all the exposure that Jameis gets. All the Mariota love that was on that show, it’s like a crow cooking show these days.

I think Marcus and Winston are both going to be very good. The difference in their games right now is obvious however. Winston is prostyle, reading the defense, going through checks, etc. Marcus is dunk the ball off get rid of it as fast as possible. They have limited him way more. Way, way more.
Given the right coaches and stability, however, I think they will both be successful. That said, I would take Winston all day as a qb and a leader over Marcus.

I wish we knew what is up with ASJ.
I do excited about Brate though.
TE and OL and WR and RB … Suddenly every group on offense is a deep group.
WR is the thinnest but next year with VJax and Evans and Murphy back and Humphries and Dyes development plus another WR drafted….
    Skies the limit
    KEEP DIRK!!!!

Exellent win last week in Philly. The game went exactly as I predicted. However, listening to local and national media, the fans, coaches, and players, I can tell you all that we need to move on. No one wanted to talk about the losses for 4 days and we need not talk about a victory for 4 days. No matter how impressive it may appear to be, a win is just one win. We are the Buccaneers and until we can establish a winning attitude and can count on seeing this team perform the same way every outing I think we need to just pump the brakes a little and let this young bucs team develope and grow together. I must give credit where it is due though. They look damn good with a quarterback.. Thanks a lot Bruce Allen… (throwing up my midnight snack)

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you by the way. I hope you all enjoy and are safe. Go Tampa!!!!!!!!!!
