Russell Shepard Says “For Sure” He’ll Return

Shepard

Serious playing time ahead

With the Bucs aching for wide receiver help with Vincent Jackson down and Louis Murphy done for the year, both with knee injuries, all of a sudden Russell Shepard is a critical name for Bucs fans.

Joe talked to Shepard today in the locker room and Shepard, sidelined with a hamstring injury the past two games, said “for sure” he’ll be ready on Sunday in Atlanta.

The Schiano-Dominik find who captains the Bucs’ special teams has five career catches, including one this season.

After Mike Evans, it’s Shepard and rookie Division III receiver Donteea Dye on the depth chart.

Any news yet on ASJ returning this week?

This situation is where many NFL stars are born…….Shepard is steady…..but Humphries might be special.

We desperately need speed at WR…..maybe this combination of recievers will at least give us that.

We will very much miss Vjax and need ASJ back ASAP!!!

glad to shepard back. special teams will benefit greatly hopefully he can contribute as a WR. I too want to see humphries. I’ve given up on ASJ until he can string a few solid games in a row until then I just don’t think you can count on the guy.

We need to re-sign Adam Humphries

Called it right after Dye made the first catch and TD of his career… This before we knew VJax was out… I like the look of this guy and I expect some big things from him… Now I am looking for Hump to be brought back… This could be as TBBF says above, the situation that leads to the opportunity someone needs to become a star… Hope one of these fill ins makes the most of it!!!

Whats going on with Kenny bell how injured is he? Wasn’t he supposed to be our replacment for V-Jacks? And the ONE WR who Winston had the MOST chemistry with we cut earlier in the year, We need to find and resign Adam humphries!

You know times are desperate when Humphries is being touted as the next Wes Welker.

Speaking of the next “Wes Welker”, I’m curious why “some” fans (Dreamland?) don’t aim a little higher, since they’re dreaming.

Why don’t the “Dreamers” wish for Humphries to be the next Jerry Rice or Randy Moss?

And, while we’re on the subject , is it a coincidence that JaMarcus and not Ryan Leaf are compared to Jameis after he has a bad game?

Look, we all have/need our heroes. But, let’s give our rookies a chance to make their own “UNIQUE” mark before we set them up for disappointment.

    Quick Test: Bird or Jordan?
