Some good news and some bad news on practice participants today

Amidst practicing under piped in crowd noise — are the Bucs really expecting that many Stinking Panthers to be in the Den of Depression for the game? — the Bucs had interesting participants and non-participants.

Leading the names of non-participants is Bucs running back Doug Martin with a yet-to-be disclosed injury. Also, Johnthan Banks is not practicing. He suffered a knee injury in the loss to Houston.

The good news is left tackle Donovan Smith returned to practice. Though he missed yesterday’s practice with a knee injury, Bucs coach Lovie Smith cautioned that Smith could resume practicing today.

Lovie, as it turns out, was right.

Piped in crowd noise in the Den of Depression? Nice touch Joe.

Maybe if they piped in the sounds of Bucs fans moaning and wailing it’d approach reality. Might even motivate the players, who knows.

  2. DallasBuc Says:

They should pipe in crowd sighs of disappointment

  3. Fsuking Says:

Sorry but Donovan Smith practing is OK news at best. Good news would be Doston practicing for D. Smith

  4. GhostofTedford Says:

They should replay the sounds at the end of the first half of the Titans game when we booed them off the field.

The line played exceptional against Houston.

We need to maintain as much cohesiveness and chemistry between the same 5 as possible. That means hopefully no swapping lineman cause of injuries. Hoping they can continue to gel.

Real good news would be Cam slipping on a banana peel on a hard surface.

  8. Tampa Tony Says:

Bucfan37- that would be horrible as Derek Anderson still gives Lovie nightmares

    Joe,

Was Evan Smith on the practice field?

I’m hoping he’s on a plane out of town!
