Public Bucs Training Camp Dates Announced

June 23rd, 2015

cheerleadersweatyJoe’s fellow diehard Bucs fans are celebrating today.

Hallelujah!

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced 11 dates and times for public training camp at One Buc Palace. Admission remains free and the team is not issuing tickets. That surprised Joe a bit given how many people will want to see America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston.

Let the countdown begin to real football practice, actual men in pads hitting each other and preparing for the preseason opener on Saturday, Aug. 15, in Minnesota.

Here are the dates and times open to the public:

Keep in mind that Day 3, Monday, Aug. 3, is when players can start hitting each other.

DATE TIME
Sat., Aug. 1 2:30 – 5:00     p.m.
Sun., Aug. 2 4:30 – 7:00     p.m.

This is great news for the unemployed Joe Buc Fan followers who live with their parents and have no career aspirations…

Really, since there are so many jobs out there to be had. Real unemployment is over 20%. The government number is pure fantasy. Or training camp great news for those retired from the workforce.

  4. Tom Edrington Says:

Hitting? Hitting? seriously? Everyone knows that the NFL has so limited hitting that there really isn’t much hitting in camp anymore, not enough to go into the boiler and watch….

Perfectly content to wait for the practice games, er, preseason exhibition games.

  5. 1Gr8Buc Says:

Would you guys like for the to change their work schedule to yours? Quit bitching. Do you complain this much during spring training? Either you can make it or you can’t, I’m sure no one really cares which one it is or the reasoning behind it.

  6. Dan Says:

I clearly need to change my name on here. . Lest i be confused for someone who would say that.

  7. Stanglassman Says:

True 37 but it’s nothing new it was changed under Bush Sr. and implemented under Clinton. In 1994, the Bureau of Labor Statistics redefined the workforce to include only that small percentage of the discouraged who had been seeking work for less than a year. The longer-term discouraged—some 4 million U.S. adults—fell out of the main monthly tally. Some now call them the “hidden unemployed.”

  8. WS99 Says:

Will there be a JBF zone too? That would be cool we can throw Barry and Supersam out there and let them get hit. Lol

  9. rayjay1122 Says:

    @Tom Edrington

You are right about the limited hitting but you forgot to mention that the limited hitting pretty much carries into the regular season as well. Man, I miss the good old days when the John Lynches of the world could legally knock the slobber out of opponents.

  10. Fsuking Says:

Or you can just stop going on the site entirely Dan. Or how about all internet comment boards… A place u clearly have no business being!

  11. Fsuking Says:

That being said, I’m happy to be unemployed so I can hit all the camps. That is, if the traffic isn’t too bad coming from Mom’s.

  12. University of Seffner Says:

I’m just glad the training camp dates aren’t on the day I have to go back to school.
