“America’s Quarterback,” Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston, and fellow rookie Bryce Petty, who were both clients of quarterbacks guru George Whitfield, showed up at a local Indianapolis high school the day before the two were to throw at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Jameis and Petty wanted to wing the ball around to keep sharp for the next day’s events. There is no such thing — to Joe’s knowledge — as a high school indoor facility for football, so the two settled for tossing the football around in a high school gym with local kids.
Joe guesses someone dared the two quarterbacks to throw a football through a basket — a full basketball court away. And look at what Jameis does.

I saw that clip a while back. It was pretty incredible to see that he had that kind of accuracy and touch. Footballs aren’t made to do that but he did it.

Yeah, plenty of indoor practice facilities up in Arkansas. Too many schools in FL to provide that compared to a place with smaller population.
