joemugshotIt was time again for Joe to step into the cage with the dean of Tampa Bay sports radio, Steve Duemig of WDAE-AM 620.

Joe there is absolutely NO humble in Jameis….none, not a shred.

Winston did NOT help himself today, but it was a incredibly intense pro day. The only reason I can think of it being that difficult was that the BUCS pretty much scripted it out to see what they really have in him. It was similar to a mini camp.

Either way he’s the pick though. There is no other option when you look at with as little emotion as possible.

Has there ever been another pro day with that many throws?

  4. 2AlcoholicJoes Says:

Gonna be so great when Jameis busts just like A. every other player the Joes have wanted to draft in the first round and B every other Bimbo Fisher QB.

  5. The original "Kevin" Says:

I gotta admit, we have never had a qb like winston. I originally wanted Mariotta but I just dont like how quite he is. I still think we should hang onto glennon as he is better than any available fa but I see wins in the immediate future with Winston a part of the team. His personality will bring out the most in the other players. That is equally as important. Look at Jay Cutler. Hes a good qb but his teammates think hes a crybaby which he is his o line gives up on him……Wiston is the pick

  6. finishers Says:

He looks great on game changers!!! Smart as hell and knows how to win!!! Sign him now!!! GO BUCS

  7. finishers Says:

Who wants a humble QB? I want a kick ass winning QB who knows he is good and makes everyone around him better!

  8. Luther Says:

Game Changers was pretty good. Even my wife watched it with me and she hates football.

  9. Bucfreak Says:

UF’s pro day hasn’t happened yet.

  10. 2AlcoholicJoes Says:

The way some of you guys make it sound, the Bucs will be raping the whole NFC South just by drafting this one guy.

  11. 87LikesFreeJerseys Says:

For those that will abandon this team if they draft Jameis. You might as well just leave now or get used to the idea, because he’s going to be a Buc!

    30 more days to go!

  12. 87LikesFreeJerseys Says:

2AlcoholicJoes…not too many of us expect an instant turnaround with the drafting of Jameis. That’s obviously something you’ve concocted in your head. I can’t help you there.

This team has a ways to go, and Winston is just a start of bright future.

  13. The original "Kevin" Says:

You cant put a price on someone who is good at theyre position but makes everyone around them play better and harder at the same time. Despite his off the field issues I would take this guy number 1….by the way I NEVER was convinced johhny football was worth drafting at all. We got the guy I wanted last year in Evans. He made manziel. Now take Winston. I dont care about the risks. The guy is a warrior. Hes confident not cocky. Big difference. Rg3 can newton johhny manziel those guys are cocky. Kaepernick is cocky. Winston is like a put bull. He has a short term memory and keeps going after what he wants. I like him. If Stanford wanted Winston they must have seen the same thing. Had he played for Stanford nobody would be questioning it….at least I doubt they would be. Just draft him. Then take all ol and dl after that.

  14. 2AlcoholicJoes Says:

Geez, Kevin, I hope your knowledge of football is better than your literacy, but I doubt it, given the standards around these parts.

  15. 2AlcoholicJoes Says:

“Winston is just a start of bright future.”

Please name one Bimbo Fisher system QB who has succeeded in the NFL and then we’ll talk about a bright future. Bust in waiting.

Well, actually the NFC South is prime for the raping. I won’t equate JW with rape for obvious reasons but JW could be the first ever franchise QB drafted and actually playing for the Bucs. The guy actually wants to play here unlike S Young and Bo Jackson.

  17. Andrew 1 Says:

    Can’t spell Winston without Wins.

  18. lurker Says:

“Lovie Smith: Not ‘erroneous assumption’ that Winston goes No. 1”

  19. Dion H. Says:

Winston is not mature enough to be an NFL QB. Lovie would be a good mentor for him if he did suddenly get himself together but I say bust too.

Jesus, you people are awful. That prime JoeBucsFan demo. You were made for Jameis.

  21. Andrew 1 Says:

Or Wins-ton. He Wins a ton. Sorry, just getting my stadium sign ready.

Ponder and Manuel both sucked while at FSU and should have NEVER been drafted as high as they did. Winston is on a different planet compared to those 2 QB’s. Not even worth comparing, but nice try BIMBO Gators fan.

  24. LargoBuc Says:

Ponder and Manuel never won a Heisman or lead a team to a national championship AT ALL let alone as a freshman. So your comparison holds no weight. Didn’t Fisher warn that Manuel wasn’t NFL ready?
It’s okay not to want Winston just come up with a real reason why instead of making baseless comparisons.
