Lovie makes a move

Anthony Collins practiced all week and is inactive today, and look who’s at left tackle.

Demar Dotson will move to the left side and Oneil Cousins will be at right tackle against Carolina.

Is this the end of the Collins era?

Lovie Smith announced the news on the Buccaneers Radio Network, saying the Bucs would slide over “our best tackle” to the left side. Lovie said Dotson has an ideal build for the position, and Lovie said he and his staff have wondered how Dotson would fare.

This should be interesting.

Seems a little late for this experiment. I’m in shock Lovie is making any type of adjustment. #stubbornfool

Wish we had two first rounders. Would LOVE a QB and Scherff.

  4. Bear the Bucs Says:

If Lovie is watching players for next year, then why isn’t Glennon starting ? Giving Glennon more reps this year will certainly help the Bucs more than not. (either for backup QB or a trade). L & L aren’t making much sense here !

I’m all for winning but also experimenting & playing younger players at this time of year…..

Pablo says: “Pablo has always loved Dotson……Pablo thinks he’s a real stud” “Pablo thinks this should have been done earlier in the season and Pablo thinks the RT should be……???? Pablo doen’t know”

The phrase, “Too little, too late,” comes to mind. I suggested this literally weeks ago, the first time Cousins stood in at LT.

Seeing what we have in him at one of the most important positions that will probably be addressed in the draft….I like it.
