Today’s Inactive Buccaneers

October 26th, 2014

McCownlaughIn case you were wondering whether Josh McCown was truly healthy. Today’s inactive list answers the question.

McCown is not on the list. Mike Kafka is. So McCown is healthy and ready to roll as the backup — for now.

Linebackers Brandon Magee and Jonathan Casillas, cornerback Brandon Dixon, rookie guard Kadeem Edwards and his fellow fifth-round pick, tackle Kevin Pamphile, and safety Keith Tandy, round out the list of Bucs getting an off day.

So, if he is backup, is it because he isn’t quite 100 percent or because they have made the commitment to roll with Glennon from here out?

I haven’t been around as much lately, so I may have missed an announcement.

    Lovie ?

  3. NJBucsFan Says:

This is where we find out if Lovie had the Bucs’ best interests at heart or if he’s stubborn. Josh McCown sucks….always has. See what Glennon has so we have a clearer QB picture come the end of the season.

  4. The Buc Realist Says:

If Lovie does put in McCown, there were only be a couple of media and a handful of sheep left to care about this team.

  5. Walter Says:

When is Charles Sims going to play?

  6. Architek Says:

Lovie is past his shelf life. His approach is dated and personnel abilities are questionable.

The Tampa-2 works but inept front offices don’t.

I’ve been what you could call a glennon hater. This game wi be the make or break for me. If glennon doesn’t play lights out then I will forever be a hater. If he can dominate against this terrible Vikings team, then I will give glennon my blessing the rest of the season.

Quite frankly this should be an easy slam dunk for glennon. The Vikings are terrible. If he can’t beat this team then I have no faith in him for our future.

  8. Buccfan37 Says:

Wow, that puts a lot of pressure on Glennon to win this game on his own.

  9. SAMCRO Says:

Jonathan Casillas a healthy scratch? This doesn’t bode well for the articulate ex-Saint next season.

  10. Andres Says:

Wow mccoy gets a gift one on one on 3rd down lol

  11. Patrick Says:

Raheem had a 10-6 season and Schiano had a somewhat decent first year as a head coach.

Lovie’s team looks completely LIFELESS right now.

I haven’t seen a beating like that since someone put a banana down my pants and let a monkey loose
