Drilling The Smile Off Drew Brees

October 2nd, 2014

Drew Brees is really getting under Joe’s skin.

Last year it was Brees, captain of the Bountygate team, moaning about how the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were filled with dirty, reckless renegades. Darren Sproles cried, too.

And now hypocrite Brees is super smug that his Saints will dominate once again.

Joe watched this video of Brees sending a message to Saints fans, and Joe is now extra eager to see Gerald McCoy blow up the pocket and wipe the smile of Brees’ face.

Joe’s convinced the pass rush is going to have to step up big time Sunday. There’s just no reason to believe the Bucs secondary will snap out of its funk — in New Orleans.

New Orleans is going to come into this game over confident.
They need a win bad and think the bucs are the key.
They might be in for a “rude awakening”

  2. ForgotAboutDre Says:

Sadly enough, he’s probably right. I’m already having visions of him picking apart our swiss cheese secondary.

I really hope I’m wrong though.

  3. Buc1987 Says:

Yep Joe I saw that video. The fans in N.O. are freaking out at 1-3.

  4. RastaMon Says:

    Barron blitz…

  5. nate_tweetz Says:

Our D-line might be able to get to him, but they’ll just be called for bogus personal foul calls for hits on the QB. Ask Clayborn. Drew Brees is one of the biggest cry babies in the league. He’s constantly begging for refs to throw a flag whenever anyone breathes on him.

  6. ShutTheBucUp Says:

I just hope we don’t give ginger graham free reign over the middle of the field. Itll make for a loooooooooong game.

  7. BucFanInArkansas Says:

Man, I’d LOVE to see LVD repeat his magic trick from the Dolphins game last year and teleport into the backfield just to knock Brees onto that fake-ass turf.

  8. AnotherJ Says:

I’m just hoping Brees throws us a few picks…
Drew gets rid of the ball too quickly for us to consistently pressure him with the front four, Hopefully We send an occasional blitz or few to throw off his timing.

We all know Graham is going to get his, but Maybe we can slow down some of his other weapons.

    Douche.Bag.

  10. ddneast Says:

Actually, blitzing Baron might not be a bad idea. he sure hasn’t shown and propensity to cover anyone with any degree of skill.

  11. RCH Says:

Drew Brees is the biggest cry baby in the NFL

  12. iamkingsu Says:

Lovie always had Brees and company flustered whenever the saints useto face the bears. I’m mean completly wipe them out and Marinelli caried that forward sunday night. But its just something not quite right with this secondary. I know you’re supposed to give up the short passes then rally and tackle but we take that to the extreme and give up every pass.

  13. buc4lyfe Says:

Your hoping brees throws picks to this defense? Apparently one game is enough for a fan that on any other topic except sports may be considered a rational person. All of a sudden our defense and offense is dominant….. I’m in but first I need some of whatever you’re smokin

  14. AnotherJ Says:

buc4lyfe Brees has thrown picks in all but one game this year.

  15. BradentuckeyBuc Says:

Hoping to God our secondary is eating, sleeping and dreaming last weeks Cowboys game tape to figure out how the Tampa 2 can actually stop or at least slow a QB that throws a ball beyond the line of scrimmage!!! And as much as I’d love to see The Cannon firing bombs to VJ (and him actually catching them), we would be much better suited methodically BURNING THE CLOCK with an EFFECTIVE running game and short, high percentage passes…Slow the game down to a crawl, keep Brees off the field, win the turnover battle and I like our chances.

  17. Buc1987 Says:

He was whining about someone else a few weeks ago. when he got body slammed on a play that was legal.

This guy. I am so sick of his smugness. I remember when he went on Oprah, and she tried rubbing that birth mark off of his face. LOL

She said “someone must have kissed youu backstage” it was a very awkward TV moment. Not a fan of Drew Sleeze.

  19. Chef Paul Says:

    87,

I remember seeing that live. I also noticed Lansanah likes to give a little smack in the head while they are on the ground, and he comes in to get them down by contact. He’s got a little fire in him.

  20. Buc1987 Says:

Sorry for the continued links Joe but this is too funny.

    Thanks Buddhaboy.

Brees on Oprah 21 seconds long.

@Buc1987 , That was great, ya some swagger..

  22. j moné Says:

He is so small a quarterback i love to see him get stomped! Lol i have a feelin our boy from Seahawks GmC n mike J goin to each leave their mark on brees id surenlove to see LVD smack him too

  23. pick6 Says:

    Lovie Smith is a genius.
Step 1. Get waxed under improbable circumstances in your first 3 games
Step 2. Pay a QB $10 million to take the fall and really sell that the team is in disarray
Step 3. Beat a series of overly confident opponents

  24. pick6 Says:

kidding aside, brees worries me. Big Ben’s movement and desire to make a play make him more prone to sacks than your typical QB. Austin Davis and Derek Anderson carved us up by getting the ball out of their hands with some urgency. Drew Brees is pretty much the king of that.

  25. GhostofJohnGruden Says:

I hope we knock the nyquil out of him.

  26. BoJim Says:

Oprah should have slapped it off his face. Death to the French!!

  27. bucsfan1979 Says:

Douche Bag, Cry Baby, Jerk Off, Ect. Ect.

  28. Espo Says:

I hope y’all are ladies watching Oprah.

That hit by Clayborn was legal. I feel that bad call was the turning point in the game. Whatever. Do it again.

I loved watching him get suplexed. I just want to know when the whistle blew. The the ref didn’t blow the whistle until he was already in the air, that’s the refs fault and no flag should be thrown.

  29. Buccfan37 Says:

Something aint right when Aint’s fans don’t have bags over their heads.

  30. BucBob1 Says:

    @87
I remember that from the game, That was great! Thanks for posting it.

  31. phil Says:

There is no player that I hate more than cry baby Drew Brees. I’m OK with roughing the passer flags.
