T.J. Rives of the Buccaneers Radio Network moderates “The Pewter Panel.”

Hey Bucs fans, Joe knows you just cannot wait until 4:25 p.m. when the Bucs kickoff their season. Well, Buccaneers.com has a cool series of videos for you to watch now called “The Pewter Panel.”

In this series, a four-man panel including Woody Cummings and the “Custodian of Canton,” eye-RAH! Kaufman, both of The Tampa Tribune, are joined by Buccaneers.com multimedia maven Scott Smith and Buccaneers Radio Network’s T.J. Rives.

In the first video the panel goes over roster moves. Cummings believes the biggest shock was the waving goodbye of kicker Conner Barth. Kaufman maintained it was kick returner Solomon Patton not making the original 53-man roster. Obviously, the video was cut before yesterday’s transactions. Smith believes 10 offensive linemen being kept is a head-scratcher.

The second video is a preview of the Stinking Panthers-Bucs game this afternoon.

The third video deals with the acquisition of guard Logan Mankins. Cummings believes Mankins is good for two more wins “at least,” and that indirectly, the credit for the trade should go to former Bucs rock star general manager Mark Dominik.

In the fourth video, the panel fields questions from you, the fans. Smith discusses a team record that could be snapped with a strong season.
