Adrian Clayborn Not Satisfied

Good not good enough for Bucs DE Adrian Clayborn.

Bucs fans have actually consulted professionals while trying to cope with their depression after seeing the Bucs’ offensive line act like matadors, waving a red flag and having defenders chase quarterback Josh McCown around like Joe does Rachel Watson in his dreams.

The difference is, the opposing defenders catch their prey.

On the other side of the ball, things are totally different. The fans of the pewter and red have slept soundly since watching the Bucs’ defensive line manhandle the Jags.

One person who isn’t excited about the results of the defensive front is left defensive end Adrian Clayborn, who said after practice today that despite the good performance, there’s a long way to go.

“I think from the outside people think we did pretty good,” Clayborn said. “Our standards are way higher than that. We still have a lot more to work on and a lot more to improve on. [Last Friday] is just the beginning to us.

“A good year is just [being] a lot better than the last couple of years and just everybody rushing as a unit. I think that will take care of itself. The last couple of years of me being here we were rushing individually and we weren’t doing as much as we could. So, rushing together and all of us getting to the quarterback as eone, you’ll see a big difference.”

Clayborn also noted that with Michael Johnson rushing from the right side, it frees him up to be more creative than in previous seasons because teams will focus on Johnson from the quarterback’s blindside (usually).

“I kind of study the game more learning how to rush from the left side,” Clayborn added.

Ladies and gentlemen who are new to JBF, in a few short moments I would like to introduce you to Bucs_Realist……….

    thx for the intro Hawaiin,,,,

back to the matter at hand, This guy is terrible, I can’t wait till Lovie replaces this guy next year with a 3rd or 4th round pick. His next excuse will be his 67th!!! He said like his demoted position because he can be more creative!!!! he has one move! the bull rush to hopefully pushes the blocker off. that is how he got his couple of sacs his rookie year.
He says that now he will try to rush as a team, We thanks for not trying last year! it did show in his play last year. If you don’t like it just quit, that’s what adrian slowborn does!!!

I will tell you who is “not satisfied” its Buc fans. more and more are just starting to get how bad of a rusher slowborn is. And joe reported at practice that adrian slowborn was slow to get up. Well Thats Just great!, he is slow to get up and slow to rush the passer!!!

What else can you say about Clayborn that you have’nt said too many times to count? I get it, you are not a fan of his. Tell me again.

Hawaiian Buc, classic and well played.

I’m reserving judgment on our players until after the real games start. The Bucs haven’t been coached well in a while now and Clayborn and the rest of these players could really breakout under this new regime. Time will tell, but I’m still optimistic overall, and they will find a way to get the offensive line shored up.

    @realist

What is your problem with AC, he sleeping with your wife or something? I have watched and re-watched the game from Fri on rewind in slow motion and stop, having been a coach for 13 yr and now refereeing , I saw only real good play form AC, except for 2 plays which were play-action roll outs where he started to pursue a little shallow he was very disruptive, he even held the edge on one play where he was triple teamed allowing McCoy & LVD to make the play. He played as well as Gholston who was playing against 2nd & 3rd teamers.

I used to think perhaps Clayborn slept with his wife, or daughter. However, after really thinking it through, I have decided that he’s probably such a hater because Clayborn wouldn’t sleep with the Realist. There’s really no other explanation as to why he would continue to repeat the same crap over and over and over again, yet continue to support Bowers, who hasn’t come anywhere near the level of production of Clayborn. Clayborn had a pretty damn good rookie season by just about any standard. The guy blew out two major knee ligaments in his second season, then spent half his third season covering RB’s in coverage. Even with that, he was very good against the run last year, and calling him a quitter is absolutely ridiculous and laughable. You can point to one particular play all day long, but I can do the same for every single player that has ever played the game.

For all the readers who have been here for a while, this is almost exactly like what we had to deal with with Thomas 2.2 and Gerald McCoy. Every single article (relevant to GMC or not) we had to hear him tell us how terrible and soft McCoy was. Well, how is that working out for Mr. 2.2? The guy has changed his screen name (probably to Bucs Realist) – ashamed to fess us to his mistake, even though it is a great thing he was so wrong. I am truly hoping Clayborn shuts this moron up once and for all, because no matter what he says, he’s going to keep doing this until that happens. He’ll say he hopes he’s wrong and he’ll be more than happy to admit it, but Thomas said the same thing. All I know is that it’s truly not healthy for one man to criticize another this much. It is always a result of something much deeper. I really hope he gets the help he needs.

Damn it Hawaiian, that was so perfect I am jealous as hell I did not get to do that!! LMAO btw, the ‘story’ as I understand it, is that AC is Realist’s daughter’s baby daddy. But you have a good point, AC may also have turned down Realist after getting the daughter pregnant since that would be a little creepy even for Realist.

It’s true you never see realist and Thomas 2.2 in the same chat room at the same time. One disappeared and the other came in.
