Owusu Returns; Byham To Injured Reserve

October 1st, 2013

Tight end Nate Byham now joins fellow tight end Luke Stocker on injured reserve, the Bucs announced today.

Tom Crabtree has yet to take a regular-season snap, so it’s fair to say the Bucs’ tight end position is in historic disarray. Rookie tight end/converted receiver Tim Wright is a not a blocker. Literally, he looks more like an NBA shooting guard than a tight end. Former New Schiano Order tight end Dallas Clark has 16 catches this season for the Ravens.

The Bucs also promoted training camp star receiver Chris Owusu to replace jettisoned Kevin Ogletree. Owusu seemed to be a lock to make the opening-day roster but was derailed by drops and an injury.

I hope they plan on using him on crossing routes, slants and underneath routes and not just 15+ yards iso’s. When we send 2 and 3 WR’s on deep iso’s, we’re begging for a Glennon sack.

Welcome to the circus Owusu, what’s your act?

Great so we get another “sure handed” receiver. This season is about to be lost and I wish it wasn’t so, I don’t wanna change coaches but our coach is showing that he cannot adapt to NFL players, game plans, and is to stubborn to admit it. Seems like the offensive system is broken, I mean look at the Giants they too are not having success with this same system. If Schiano really wants to mold himself after Belichick then maybe he should start altering our schemes both offensively and defensively to the strengths of our players. Right now it looks like he’s trying to put a square peg in round hole

I actually thought Wright looked pretty good this week. He took a beastly shot going over the middle but he caught passes.

The way everything has been handled and the fact that the trust and accountability shield that Schiano so often referred to has been penetrated, the Glazers really need to try to preserve any sanity left in the organization by firing Schiano. He’s lost control of the team and failed to perform up to expectation. Every new thing I read has another drama-filled Schiano nugget. New ones keep popping up daily. End the charade and move on.

IMHO-Time to sell to Edward DeBartolo, Jr. He’ll bringing a Championship back to Tampa

Not a Propagandists, simply trying to give an impartial examinations of the facts of the matter.

    Notes:
Things haven’t been the same since Malcolm Glazer’s stroke in 2006.

Bruce Allen (After Rich Mckay’s salary cap purgator) left the organization with 44mil to spend in 2009.

5yrs later and we QUALITY DEBT not QUALITY DEPTH
