“I’d Have A Deaf Ear For Him”

October 25th, 2013

The national humiliation continues. The NFL Network video linked here is a roundtable chat on the Raymond James Stadium field about the demise of the Bucs’ locker room and details, via “Bucs sources,” what it will take to get Greg Schiano fired before the end of the 2013 season.

Perhaps most embarrassing is Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk explaining why he wouldn’t be on board with the head coach if he was a Buccaneer. “I’d have a deaf ear for him,” Faulk said.

Its over Mr. Greg Schiano! But good luck with your future…..Maybe go back into college coaching 😉

  2. Buc1987 Says:

If anyone was there I was the dude with the This Sucks sign. I most have had about 350 pictures of me and posed for pictures with over 50 fans and the sign. It was the only fun I had. I also went to the field and threw my season pass card in the end zone. Some dude said I was on TV with the sign I walked around the entire stadium with it posing and taking pictures like a celebrity it was HILARIOUS. Watching the replay now on dvr and still don’t see the wife and me. I hope that dude was not BSing me.

  3. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

Marshall Faulk is against all things Bucs…all the time.

  4. MadMax Says:

@Buc1987, you at least had fun….I sat on my couch, watching, completely emotionless through the first 3 quarters. My girlfriend was even on me “are you in a bad mood?” I said no, Im expecting the worst because I know its coming under this coach! Well, she’s a Giants fan and had to burn me, “well at least we finally won”…I said, “I told you and everyone you guys wouls win against freefree and the Vikes”!!!

HAHAHA, what a time to be a suffering Buc Fan!!!!!!!UHGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. MadMax Says:

  6. Buc1987 Says:

Max…yah I never imagined how popular the sign would be. It was ludicrous. Being drunk off you ass helped too. But I was stopping about every 20- 30 secs. “dude I need to get your picture. Or “can you pose with my mom?” Craaazy stuff. The sign took off I have to find that sucker. Many people said they were going to post the pic to Facebook. So that might be my chance. I don’t even own a friggin smart phone and never got a picture for myself. Sad.

  7. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Maybe Seattle will take it easy on us and keep it under 50.

  8. MadMax Says:

Call me funny, but I have a feeling the Seattle game will be the major upset next week…..dont know why, just a feeling!

  9. Splengo Says:

    MadMax,

By major upset, you’re talking about your stomach, right? Because the Seahawks haven’t lost in their house with the 12th man in quite a while. That wouldn’t be an upset, that would be a miracle of epic proportions!

  10. Hawaiian Buc Says:

    @MadMax,

    I’m officially calling you funny.

  11. Hawaiian Buc Says:

I’m beginning to think Schiano is not Dungy 2.0.

  12. k1ngadroc Says:

    @madmax – you’re funny

  13. MadMax Says:

I dont know Splengo, just a feeling. Just like my feeling with Freeman last year, that we should cut him….and Coach this year….and I wanted us to draft Kawaan Short and Tyrann Mathieu….and I feel we should work on the O line this next draft…..Upsets occur though, and they happen when you least expect them.

  14. MadMax Says:

Screenshot this post guys….Im funny, and sometimes Im wrong, but I just have a feeling!!!

Especially if we have someone other than schiano running things!

  15. MadMax Says:

I hope the people who saw me posting the Giants would get their first win against the Vikes are now taking notes 😉

  16. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Nobody wins in Seattle. Add to that we never win, and the chances are about the same as Joe finally hooking up with Rachel Watson. Actually, I like Joe’s chances better.

  17. MadMax Says:

You’re probably right Hawaiian! Maybe its just me and my craziness….but the season is done so it doesnt really matter.

  18. Buc1987 Says:

0-16 This Sucks! Yes Hawaiian…Schiano is not Dungy 2.0 but the D sure looked good against the high powered Saints. I think he said something to the team after that game and the team is now saying F U Schiano and that happened probably after that game. As far as I’m concerned he lost the team awhile back. Newton was in beast mode tonight though, running wild. Makes me think about the Dungy days against Vick and how the Bucs D used to light him up when he tried to run. All I can picture is John Lynch leveling Cam every time he takes off. Those were the days man.

Oh I think Schiano will be fired by the time I wake up in the morning or noon. It’s almost 3 now. These fans wanted to kill that poor coach of ours tonight. That’s about all I heard from fans everywhere throughout the stadium. I kept hearing the name Schiano this and Schiano that. Even while taking a piss I heard it about 6 times. There were many Fire Schiano signs. Some people said your sign should say Schiano Sucks. I said hell those are everywhere. I like to be original. If your team is sucking try and have fun. So I spent the end of the 3rd and all of the 4th not even watching the damn game anymore. I was getting my picture taken by so many people with that damn sign. I wanted to charge a buck a picture at 1 point just to recover some of my season ticket money and that’s what I was telling fans. 1 dollar a picture. Whatever cheap ass Buc fans. I was getting mugged by a sh!tload of people at one time. Some dude grabbed me and swung me around and said you got to take a picture with my cousin. At one point I just went to the concessions indoors and waited near the tunnel for the game to be over, because they kept telling me I could not stand there. I told the lady can’t you see I’m a celebrity look at all these people behind you taking pictures of me. She told me move along pal. So I waited inside and held the sign up over the trash can beside a It’s a Bucs Life Sign. Just to see how many fans would stop and take a picture with me. Again people were forming family group photos with the damn sign. 2 words is all it took. This and Sucks.

When the Phins are blowing the Bucs out of the water in 2 weeks. I’ll have another sign ready for the 4th. Ya gotta have fun!

    It’s a Bucs Life JBF!

Excuse the typos please I’m still purty drunk.

Anyways Hawaiian Buc is the only 1 that’s going to read this at this late hour. Go Bucs in 2014!

Chants of Lovie Lovie Lovie over by the NFL Network tent.

  19. Warthog Says:

Schiano gotta go but this Lovie talk is a bit meh. Of all the currently-out-work former HCs that get mentioned on this site, I think he’s the worst option.

  20. Hawaiian Buc Says:

He was never Dungy 2.0. The Saints game was fools gold. He just had a bunch of great talent that he hadn’t screwed up yet with his coaching. Plus, even the sun shines on a dog’s ads every now and then.

  21. Buc1987 Says:

Warthog…I agree. Just saying there was shyte load of fans chanting his damn name. I don’t want them to get Lovie either.

    and Good Night JBF yawn.

  22. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Why would that he warthog? Is it the trip to the Super Bowl with Rex Grossman as his QB? Or is it all the 10 win seasons?

  23. Buc1987 Says:

See ya in about 8-9 hrs.

  24. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Should be “why would he be”

  25. Warthog Says:

Hawaiian – not saying Lovie is terrible, because he isn’t. I just think if you are going to hire a guy with a serious pedigree as hc, might as well go all out for a guy with the most impressive record of winning and turning around struggling franchises. So for me it’s Schottenheimer, despite all the knocks about ‘martyball’ etc. all that guy ever did was win, no matter where he was and what kinda talent he had to work with. I think it was only two season in 22 that he wasn’t over 0.500?

  26. Warthog Says:

Don’t get me wrong though. I’d take Lovie over Schiano or another greenhorn from the college ranks any day of the week. Really hope the glazers don’t try and get smart and find the ‘next great young coach’. Screw that. Bucs fans want a solid, experienced coaching staff they can have faith in, not another experiment with some college clown who has no experience at the top level.

  27. Hawaiian Buc Says:

    @Warthog,

Ok, and I would love Marty too. I’m a little concerned with his age and amount of time out of coaching in the NFL, but he is a winner. Anyone but Schiano or another college coach.

  28. Capt. Tim Says:

    Hawaiian Buc-
    SEATTLE?!?!
( drops phone, runs for pepto!)

  29. Eric Says:

They should cancel the Seattle game for humanitarian purposes.

    Might get beat by 50.

Why is it so hard to get a legit GM and Coach?

  30. Morgan Says:

I have very little respect for fans who boo their so-called favorite team. Crappy fanbase anyway – but prove it by booing the team/coaches.

  31. joseph mamma Says:

It’s hard to get a legit GM and coach because the guy’s doing the hiring, don’t know what their doing. And come on, to get a proven GM, they will be paying more than what they are paying Dom period. To get a proven coach, they will be paying more than they are paying this joke of a coach. It probably has to do with money. I don’t think it was a coincidence that after they fired Gruden, we had one of the lowest paid coaches in the league.

  32. Chef Paul Says:

lol that pic of greggy looks like he’s sucking an invisible you know what
