Listen To The Bucs

September 27th, 2013

While franchise quarterback Josh Freeman hid from the assembled pen and mic club (which included Jeff Darlington from the NFL Network) so he could kiss up to BSPN later, his soon-to-be former teammates manned up and had no issues talking Bucs Thursday.

Among the Bucs who did speak were defensive tackle Akeem Spence, linebacker Mason Foster, wide receiver Eric Page, cornerback Darrelle Revis, safety Dashon Goldson and wide receiver Mike Williams.

Also, defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan had his weekly press conference and of course, the daily press conference from Bucs commander Greg Schiano.

Of course, all of the audio is courtesy of Joe’s good friends at WDAE-AM 620.

Please explain to me why Freeman – whom many of you miserable and completely hackneyed sports-writers and fangasms ruthlessly attacked, regularly, while he was the starter – why does he owe YOU fools, anything, now?

The young man allowed this to be about the team – he didn’t draw attention to himself, he didn’t try to divide the locker room, he simply let others have their moment. Yet, many of you are the same guys who hang around a. Bar right to kick the guy who fell first. If you can’t give him the grace he’s extending his team and to Mike Glennon “bump” you.

I was a Bucs fan before you vermin arrived, and even though you’ve manipulated, lied, and twisted reality to build up a following of likeminded rats you call your “readers” (as if dividing this good town ingratiates you to more the a third of the fans)…I’ll be here laughing my stripes off AFTER your blog, downsizes you, because you no longer fit THEIR plan.

Have you guys thought about relocating to Philly? They have a real pip of a college coach up there – and considering their fans – you guys would fit right in.

Woa white tiger calm down. While I agree that Freeman should not be judged because he interviewed with ESPN and declined to speak to local writers, no reason to attack this blog.

  3. White Tiger Says:

It isn’t this blog I’m attacking – it’s this vacuous, low information, muck-raking, version of “Joe”. Tactless, ungracious, and classless.

This man would not be missed.

Had an epiphany this morning. Our problem wasn’t josh Freemae needn, it was Mike Sullivan. We need to dump him and pick up the o coordinator from rutgers. We need someone that’s already been brainwashed so Schiano can trust him and let him coach without micromanaging him. buccaneer man = schiano cult member. Talented player/coach < someone who's drank the kool aid

Love it how the media gets panties in a bunch when a player/coach etc doesn’t spill the beans on anything and everything.
