Still No QB Named To Face Bucs

August 27th, 2013

The quarterback mess in New York has reached epic proportions in Jets camp. Damn, what Jets fans wouldn’t do to have Josh Freeman!

Joe only cares about this circus because the Jets happen to play the Bucs in 12 short days. This SNY-TV video of Jets coach Rex Ryan getting grilled yesterday on all things QBs says it all. Enjoy.

Then trade them Freeman. He’s looking really bad for us.

  2. Scotty in Fat Antonio Says:

This is shaping up to be one UGLY game. I just hope we can pull off a win. Come on DIMKE!!!!!

  3. MadMax Says:

All I know is that is one hot mess up there. Im sure Revis is SOOO glad to be here. All I know is if we start Revis, once we have a chance to sit him, we probably should. He’s going to give that knee a lot of work….so if we go up pretty good and it looks like we can protect the lead, pull him out for some early rest….got to try and protect that $1mil per game early on. Then by mid season, maybe he’ll be in full swing.

    Must win game!

  5. Morgan Says:

That team is a dumpster fire. And if we lose to them in week one, what does that make us?

  6. Bojacksonsucks Says:

Give Rex the talent on the Bucs roster and TB is in the playoffs. I hope Schiano makes me a believer this season.

  7. Mark G Says:

    Where did Brash-Loud-Rex go?!?

  8. tampabaybucfan Says:

Don’t take this game for granted…or any NFL matchup for that matter.
That being said….if, & I say if….hopefully we get a chance to use some backups in key positions early in the season.
I would like for Glennon, James (if he suits up) Gholdson, Means & Melvin to get some action.

  9. Couch Fan Says:

Lol It’s not a must win game, its only the first game. But it should be a win absolutely and it will set the tone for the rest of the season win or lose. Big Big game.

  10. Touchdown Gus Says:

@couch fan I agree but last year that wasnt the case. Last year the run defense gave us a preview of the entire year holding cam and boys to 10 yards rushing.

  11. Bojacksonsucks Says:

Jets still had a top 10 defense in 2012 without Revis. So the Bucs have a tough test on opening day, especially if they still have protection issues and QB issues.

  12. RBellBuc Says:

Rex doesn’t want to name a starter because he wants us to keep guessing, thinking we have to prepare for both seperately. What he fails to understand, and it makes me laugh, is they are basically the same talent at this point, running the same offense. The only real difference between Sanchez, and Smith, is Smith’s propensity to run. I personally do not care who they start. Regardless on who Rex chooses our defense needs to pin their ears back and rattle their cages. Put fear in them and create errors.

  13. Biff Barker Says:

    We’ll be starting Freeman so it’s a fair contest…

  14. mindyr Says:

big deal they have not named a starting QB we have and why does not make me feel any better

  15. Eric Says:

Lets see if the jets still want Freeman AFTER the game Sunday. Doubt it.

Should be interesting viewing for Dom, since he wanted Sanchez to begin with. Wonder if Winslow will get in the game.

  16. Chef Paul Says:

The bucs are the worst team in the world. I just don’t see it. I tell you one thing, if this team is even half as bad as you people think and I am that too dang blind to see it, I’m jumping off a freaking bridge. A tall one.
