No Need To Freak Over Preseason

August 22nd, 2013

Davin Joseph explains

Joe knows Bucs fans freaked out over the annoying loss to the Patriots last week and began an avalanche of criticism levied upon Bucs franchise quarterback Josh Freeman.

But it is just preseason. It doesn’t mean anything. Nothing in fact. Trust Joe,  Bucs players heard the fans flip out, but guard Davin Joseph put the uproar into perspective, noting you cannot judge a season by the preseason.

“It is hard to tell,” Joseph said. “Some teams win all the preseason games and will be .500 and under and other teams that won’t win a game in the preseason and will go on an undefeated streak. I think fantasy football has a lot to do with that. People have to get their team right. They pay attention a lot with preseason. We look at it different. We look at it as executing to decide the final 53 guys here. We really don’t game plan.”

Joe asked Joseph if preseason football was like spring training baseball, in that sometimes pitchers will only work on one specific pitch and will not deviate, no matter the hitter or the count. Football teams will use preseason games to sometimes work on one thing, only. Joseph did not disagree.

“Yeah, you have a small package of plays so you could say it is similar,” Joseph said. “You are not running your full menu of plays, just a sampler. Running certain formations of plays. [A] quarterback will run certain plays in the offseason and what not. What I get from a preseason game playbook is nothing like what we see in a regular season game.”

There you have it. While Bucs fans naturally want the Bucs to win a preseason game, the games are not played for the scoreboard. Rather, they are a tool to improve and prepare for the regular season.

  1. Couch Fan Says:

There may be no need to freak out over Pre-Season, but combine that with the last 5 years and there is indeed a reason to freak out. It’s not like they’ve given us much to be excited about yet…. of course there are always the optimists who are excited about anything and everything.

  2. Eric Says:

Nobody is freaking out about the scores, but our starters haven’t looked good at all.

Given the 1-5 finish just a few months ago it is concerning. But we’re aware it’s preseason.

I remember when the pats destroyed us and McCoy was slobbering over Brady. The “it’s only preseason” mantra appeared and we went 4-12.

And that was only the season before last!

  3. Eric Says:

Don’t worry the regular season is closing in. Ample time to freak out then, as usual.

  4. Gus Numbers Says:

@couch fan like me! I don’t care. Am I frustrated at the last few years, yes very. But it’s a new season. Every team has the same record. New teams make the playoffs every year. I believe like I have every year of being a fan that this is our year! GO BUCS!

  5. John2828 Says:

All of these same “fans” crying over Freeman…crying over an 0-2 start, are the same “fans” that will be the first to say “its only preseason” if the bucs went 4-0 in it. So as a real fan that understands what Davin confirmed of Joes belief of preseason football…

Sot back. Shut up. And enjoy a season of Buccaneer football. This team will be competitve. They have a great shot at the playoffs. Josh Freeman will come through. Next year…despite this years success…WATCH OUT!!! The bucs are building someting very special. Sit back and enjoy hostory inthe making.

  6. Buc1987 Says:

Gus spend enough time in the comments section of JoeBuc and people like Couch Fan will do everything they can to kill your optimism, or enthusiasm. You’ll learn to skip over certain people’s comments. For the record clowns, I said I’d be back if I saw utter BS going on. Well I just saw it. Couch Fan = woe is me, I’m a Buc fan and this sucks and that sucks, this guy sucks and that guy does too. Neverending!

  7. Mr Lucky Says:

Actually the thing that bothered ME most in the last preseason game was the hideous play of our back-up guards on the O-line.

Josh NEEDS to play more series, but with the O-line that was in last week even Tom Brady would have looked bad!

Our defense looked like I expected it would against Brady.

I was pretty happy with the back-up RB’s but that drop by Olgetree – unacceptable.

  8. cmurda Says:

Count me as an optimist. My 2 concerns are defensive line and QB. Both could be keys to our playoff run or thorns in our side. Im going with the former. Told ya I was an optimist.

  9. BUCSLEGENDS Says:

Couch Fan, Just state your freakin’ opinion !!!!!!!!! Why do you have to call people out. Don’t get me wrong you can have your opinion (and I respect that) that’s what this place is for, but why so confrontational ? GO BUCS !!!!!!!

  10. PRBucFan Says:

“We look at it as executing”

Yea that’s all we are looking for as well…

  11. chef paul Says:

“Davin Joseph put the uproar into perspective” Ahh perspective. That’s something this fan base needs more of

  12. kh Says:

Half the morons on here freak out over blog posts, a preseason game is just a convenient excuse to freak out more.

  13. Buc1987 Says:

BUCSLEGENDS……the sooner you learn that the JoeBuc comment section is full of nothing but negative posters the better off you will be. I say anyone that has a positive outlook on the season should just read Joe’s articles and stay away from the comment section spewing with hatred. Joe does a great job covering our team. These people should be left in here to bitch amongst themselves. No sense fighting back and forth with them. What good does it do you? Read Joe’s great articles and coverage, click the comment button if you like and read all the negative crap. Just don’t bother to respond. Your not going to change their negative thinking. Wouldn’t it be great if they were just left in here to bitch all by themselves, it would be like heaven for them. They’d all agree. Or you could just take another approach if you want to just talk Buc football with the positive people, skip over the ones that bitch EVERY single day in here and ignore them. It’s just a suggestion. Now watch how many of them jump all over me for even typing this. You’ll soon get a list of all the known bitchers. Not from me, but their comments back to me. Remember those names and follow their track record. They bitch and moan EVERY single day. The same ones that are bitching in here today. Will be bitching about the team tommorow and the next day. If a certain player on the Bucs says something positive they knock it down with negative…and follow up with, hey I’m a fan too. I can have my own opinion. Even though it’s always negative, but hey they’re fans and they care too.

  14. the_buc_realist Says:

the bucs winning would cure my negative thinking.

  15. chef paul Says:

    Buc legends,

Its OK. He does that because he doesn’t know how to look at the big picture. He said himself. I can ONLY go by what Ive seen in the past. To me that means he makes his opinion based on one thing. IMO the last sentence couch said was just dumb. You turn what people say into a hyperbole to make you sound like you have a brain. Well no ones buying it scarecrow

  16. Eric Says:

    I’m excited!

  17. PRBucFan Says:

There are plenty of people on here that try and force their perspective on others.

On BOTH sides, and neither is justified lol

  18. chef paul Says:

Your right PR. 98% of us are guilty of that. I dont know how you stay so calm. You definitely have that right name. You’re our public relations guy. Lol

  19. buc4life24 Says:

Scoreboard doesnt matter…pass protection, communication, and execution does. I am staying optimistic, but it is nice to see a team that looks to be in regular season form or close to it.

  20. PRBucFan Says:

Ahahaha Why thank you, that definitely gave me a good chuckle. 🙂

I’m bursting at the seams though, I can’t wait for this season to start. jeje

  21. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

I’ve noticed guys like BamBam bring factual data to their posts, and some others. I’ve also noticed the haters bring pure opinion and personal attacks. They especially get angry when the facts shoot them down and they try to act like the’ve “heard it all before” to make it seem less important. But the truth is the truth. Facts are facts and that irritates them.

We allxknow who they are, and they will likely reveal themselves after reading this.

  22. Andrew 1 Says:

    ^^^^ BINGO!

  23. Splengo Says:

Watching Luke Kuekly tonight, just about ready to jump off the Schiano bandwagon!

  24. ShutTheBucUp Says:

    I am definitely OPTIMISTIC!

  25. Buc1987 Says:

    Round 2

A great fan does not look at the past season or seasons past and project it onto the coming season.
A great fan of the Seahawks did not bitch and moan about the past seasons of 2011-7-9 or 2010 7-9 he/she looked forward to a great season and positve things. Did he/she get positive things in 2012? YES they did.
A great Colts fan saw his/her team go 2-14 in 2011 and went into the 2012 season looking foward to good and positive things in the coming season. Did they get it? Yes they did.
The fairweather Buc fan will justify their reasons for being negative, by saying things like. I’m just tired of not making the playoffs for the last 5 years. So they go negative at every turn to justify their negativity. A great fan takes the good seasons with the bad seasons. Some in here, I won’t name names, but they know who they are say stuff like. I’ll become the biggest Freeman fan if he takes the Bucs to the playoffs. That’s a fairweather fan. If Freeman and the TEAM go to the playoffs this year. THEY the fairweather fans do not deserve it. The great Buc fans do. The great fans look forward to good and positive things and don’t knock the team at every turn. The fairweather fans LOVED the team during the Dungy and Gruden years. Now that the team has went into a slump, they bash at every turn. They the fairweather fans on JoeBuc are not hard to identify. So when you see them posting their negative comments on a daily basis. Call them out for what they are. A spade is a spade. A fairweather fan is a fairweather fan. So let them know who they are. Just call them that and move on. No need to reply back to them when they get angry over it. They are who they are. It amazes me how they can’t just look forward to the season and just wait and see. Watch the damn games and hope for the best. Perhaps that’s just how they live their every day life. If that’s true. I bet some of them at some point in their lives had the bumper sticker that read Life Sucks Then You Die. Peace out.

Speaking of Felaishments. Has anyone heard the new Al Jazeera America adds on the radio? 620 Ron and Ian. Big money from Qatar moving in hitting all the stations. Muslim Pres, sharia law, UN troops training in US, FEMA Youth. Familiar Picture???

  43. Buc1987 Says:

An Adam L… If you read this. I apologize and look forward to saying hi to you in your section. It’s a long ways away from where I’m sitting, but you can trust I will make an in person apology. That you can count on. That’s how I roll man. BTW I’m an old man. I was 6 yrs old when the Bucs came into existence. I moved to Florida in 1987 and adopted this team that I adore, not knowing anything of their past. I have not wavered since then though. Do I bitch and moan while I’m watching them play? Of course I do. At the start of each season though I look forward to good things. Whether it’s 1988 or 2013. I am more positive about this current team than in the past 5 or 6 years. Hell I predict a division crown. If you want to continue to have no faith in this team. Then I hope they prove you wrong. I think they will.

@MadMax..I read your comments earlier on another article. My only advice to you is the same you gave me. Calm down. I say this because you have to wait and see. There are many factors as to why this team as underperformed
many factors that you and I cannot control. So just take it easy and wait and see. If things go to shyte this season, as far as I can tell you are going to go off the chain. I won’t blame you or anyone else if you do.

As for the rest of you. I’m going to crawl back into my shell now and wait for someone else to piss me off enough to come out and bite. Lately a lot of times I just smh and move on.

  44. Buc1987 Says:

  45. Buc1987 Says:

BigMacAttack…yikes buddy. I’m far right, but does this belong on JoeBuc?

  46. Buc1987 Says:

Junkie I can leave out SacBucs.

    SacBucs says :
“He shood sound down with thaat weak sauce coaching from college. The whole team will be tired by mid season. Find a real defensive coordinator. Demote dom to asst. Wateva!
Tell Schiano thi$ the PRO$ that elementry school pop warnerway of coaching aint flying. Bill sheridan defense is suspect.
I wont stress off the bucs ever again until we get a real organization.
Im sick of being the Raiders of the NFC or the wizards of the NBA. I will not spend my money on season tickets until we have a team worth a dam.
Meredith and Carimi looked better at tackles then our starters”

    Buc1987 says :
And if they start winning this guy will start to cheer for Schiano and everyone else.

  47. Buc1987 Says:

Goooooooooooood night Buc-land. Until next time. Go Bucs!

  48. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Every year I tell myself to not worry one way or the other about preseason, and every year I proceed to do the exact opposite. I just can’t help it. As of right now, I have Cleveland and Detroit in the Super Bowl, lol.

Seriously, as a fan, I just don’t see the point in complaining every year. To me, there’s just no fun in that. I enjoy watching the Bucs. If I’m just going to be a whiner and complainer like many on this site, I don’t see what’s so enjoyable about that. I would just pick another team that would make me happy. Whether or not we go 16-0 or 0-16, this is still going to be my team. I hate it when we lose, but I’m not going to make myself miserable by whining like a little girl about it. To each their own I guess.

  49. Buc1987 Says:

Oh hell I’m still barely awake so why not add Mr Lucky to the list Junkie.

Mr Lucky says: “Thin skinned HOMER is what I meant Buc1987.
But thank you for turning over money to team Glazer. Don’t forget to purchase Bucs jersey #5 as well so we can see you on TV crying in your $8 beer ok?”

Yes morons I’m saving EVERY single one of your negative BS comments. So keep posting it. Keep posting negative crap about the team you say your a fan of.

  50. Solaire of Astora Says:

People who are awsome list. Solaire of Astora .. Praise the Sun/

  51. PRBucFan Says:

What list do I belong to?

Because there is plenty things that I have posted In avid support of our team and the ONLY person I still lack faith and still question is Freeman.

If that places me on your list than so be it.

I could care less about playing “label the fan” with you lol.

  52. JMatUCF51 Says:

As a Bucs fan I well tell you this team is very close to being one of dominance. I also have followed them for years and remember keeping a news paper article about the pieces of the puzzle. One of those pieces was Simeon Rice. That year we also won the Superbowl. I remember how everything came into place, and the two first round picks we gave up for John Gruden. We won the Superbowl. I have idolized and followed them ever since. I can tell you about all the negative comments that I have heard from people I know. Yet as a fan I back them up no mater what. I also played football with passion. I live life with passion. The Bucs will play again with passion. This team has inspired me through all my endeavors. Through life’s obstacles, and through college. It taught me to never give up and always believe. This team needs more fans who do that. Who believe in them even when the gettin is getting tough. Schiano has been smart in holding back alot this pre-season so do realize you have not seen anything of this team yet. Dont get me wrong the NFC south will be tough and yes Kuechly looks amazing but also do realize he did last year as well if you were watching. But the Bucs have far more pieces in place so do believe in them. I am for my first time a season ticket holder who now lives on the east coast of florida. Im about three hours a way, but that did not stop me from buying season tickets. Im finally now in a position to buy these tickets for which I feel is a great achievement. I feel my life resembles a lot of the Bucs for how so many underestimated them, ye they always prevailed. They in my opinion are close to be that dominance again, and I will for one be there every game cheering them on. Buc1987 you sound like the kinda fan I would like to meet! Football is not a game, for its a war that most would never understand. Go Bucs!

  53. PRBucFan Says:

The irony is that the only hate and negativity I’m feeling and no doubt others are reading at this moment is coming from how judgmental you all are coming off as.

My opinion of Freeman is the exact same as Joes and I’ve never said anything to the contrary or attacked him personally.

The only list I belong to is “I’ll believe it when I see it” with Freeman
but just because I’ve disagreed with you on the way you’ve carried yourself at times on this site Junkie does not mean that I am generally a negative fan cause that is not the case.

    Bitter is not better.

  54. PRBucFan Says:

Than again, who are you for me to feel like I have to validate anything to you?

Anyone whose been here long enough knows that that accusation is absolute shit.

I said before that I wouldn’t acknowledge you on this site anymore and I’ve done broke that. But this time ill keep true to my promise to make sure you do not garner an ounce of my attention. Standing behind the “holier than though” label and spewing more hate than most. Lol funny and simply not worth the attention you garner. Hasta luego cabron.

  55. PRBucFan Says:

If you wanna debate football and freeman fine lets do that but leave the personal attacks and the “labeling” somewhere else cause it just makes this site feel like its high school all over again. Leave the kiddie stuff elsewhere.

  56. PRBucFan Says:

The only “daily” thing I do on this site is stand my ground in terms of the Freeman debate.

But to say I gang up on people because they are optimistic is false beyond belief and very offensive to be honest.

That’s the last I’ll say on this issue. Honestly it’s getting a little out of hand.

  57. PRBucFan Says:

Heck I even searched all night for a post in favor of a point Buc1987 was trying to make the other night that he couldn’t find for him and posted it up for him.

Yea im so evil… But you can continue to paint me how you like junkie.

That’s the last thing, Lol promise.

  58. MadMax Says:

bucnjunkied, please remove my manhood from your mouth. I rarely post here, and Ive also posted positive comments about most of the players. Ive criticized freeman and you cant stand that, oh well, thats on you…and you can think of me what you want, add me to lists, whatever, your opinion of me would be important if I had any respect for you.

  59. MadMax Says:

Well said PR…dont let it get to you though…he’s small minded and thats what small minded people do, over react and personally attack when they disagree with you…thats all they got, lol. i just smdh 🙂

  60. MadMax Says:

@1987, I wont go off the deep end, but I do have a lot of passion for my Bucs….fairweather/bandwagon fans dont even start to get involved until the team is winning their division and about to be in the playoffs…those types also dont go back and study the film and rewatch the games over 3 or 4 times while taking notes.

  61. Solaire of Astora Says:

I agree with PRbucsfan this is no place for personal attacks. Even towards players( I’m speaking to a certain Boob)

This is exactly how I feel. Maybe it’s because at my age I have to worry about stress and blood pressure. I understand the day after a loss people are letting off steam, so I try to blow off comments then. Try.

The things that really tick me off are injuries to starters, but that is no ones fault unless the injury is due to poor technique. A good example would be Martin in this last game. His crack on the head was his own fault, and though it wasn’t serious, I felt his blocking techique needed to be addressed.

I still won’t hate on the guy though.

  64. scubog Says:

Now that was a funny bunch of comments. Disappointed that a few of my favorites didn’t chime in. The list was a real hoot. As Flip Wilson would say, “You ugly people know who you are.” 1987 just cracks me up. I love the loyalty. Stop by and see me at the games. East side, 134, Row Z seats 19-24.

  65. D Kemp Says:

I agree that preseason is more for evaluation, however I would like to see the team do a better job protecting the qb and rushing the opposing qb.

  66. SteveK Says:

Junkie, can you take your list and use it to wipe your ass, you clown?

  67. Chef Paul Says:

This is probably a moot point by now but I agree that PRBucFan should not be on that list. This guy’s comments are polite and have perspective. I am not going to go through and check but my memory says he’s never ticked me off. Somethings you/me may not agree with but I don’t think he’s ever been a dick or anything.

I know last week we performed almost exactly like I expected. Except for the pass protection. That let a lot a air out of my sails. I didn’t get freaked out until I started reading the comments here on JBF. I don’t know if you guys listen to Colin Cowherd, but he calls it “over reaction Monday.” I’m definitely an over reaction Monday kind of guy

  68. BucDan Says:

I agree with Scubog. This was a hoot to read. I can only imagine if we had some female fans whining in here, AMIRITE!!?? haha

All jokes aside, I love watching the Bucs play. I also love discussing the Bucs….with REASONABLE people as to have REASONABLE discussions.

Some of you have seen my previous posts being a “Freeman-ite” or whatever it was called, and I will stand by my confidence in him. I have also bashed those that were calling for Glennon before seeing him play. After two preseason games I will say this: Mike Glennon looks like a good pick up so far. I wouldn’t mind seeing him run with with the first team for a few drives this preseason. THAT would light a fire for competition and I think that is what Schiano had in mind this off season. Speculation, but hey….

After FOUR drives in 2 WHOLE preseason games, I wish JFree moved more in the pocket. Needs to get back to his Big Ben-like movements. We had two 3-and-outs with a make believe first-team offense (against the Pats). Yes they looked like garbage. I hope to see improvement this weekend.

Now, did anybody watch last night’s Pats Vs Lions? If only the Patriots played like that week one of the presseason, huh? That would have been plastered ALL OVER the media. IT’S THE PRESEASON GUYS! Of course you want to ‘WIN” the game, but the biggest thing to come from these games is evaluation.

I don’t want to jump on any toes, but it’s almost as if you can tell who has played the actual game and been on a team for more than a season or two by the comments.

Unless I’m wrong and every single one of us has been on 5A-Texas powerhouses that win state every year….. what is a losing season????? That NEVER HAPPENS!!!!

    /end rant

  69. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

I knew it! Self control is an elusive trait.

I am really glad I now know how to be a real fan. It’s been keeping me up at night. I’m glad there’s an authority in house. What a relief!

  70. Buc1987 Says:

    @Bonzai Ha ha ha I do consider 43 old. I feel like I’m 60. I guess I’m really screwed when I actually am 60.

@Junkie now ya see why I didn’t want to name, names. The names I listed I posted their past comments is all, just to show a little bit of evidence. I just figured the optimistic posters could identify them on their own without naming names.

@scubog…those are GREAT seats man. LOL wanna trade? I’m in section 150 row T seats 6 and 7. You’re right though I am funny as hell. Anyone that has ever really known me, knows that. I hear the words, your the funniest person I’ve ever met all the time. I don’t show it on jbf though. I’m come off as angry and pissed off. Maybe it’s the passion, I don’t know.

@Stevek…I’m sorry that you were dropped on Junkie’s list. I don’t see all that much negative stuff come from you except for when it comes to JF. A lot of times you mention how your looking forward to the season, and really just want Freeman to prove you wrong. Perhaps Junkie can explain to you why he put down there

@PRBucfan..you don’t belong on Junkie’s list. Your pretty much a straight shooter. Just like Stevek you want Freeman to prove you wrong. A lot of times you get my points when I go off the chain, and bring me back down to earth. Your kind of like my Dr. Phil. LOL

@Hawaiian Buc “I hate it when we lose, but I’m not going to make myself miserable by whining like a little girl about it. To each their own I guess.” <~~~~Great stuff!

@MadMax ..Saying you bash Freeman is an understatement. Annihilate Freeman and then go onto say you hope he proves you wrong. You want the Bucs to already give up the season and start Glennon and if they stink it up, they get to draft higher in the next draft. I think I read your statements quite clearly.Your very confident Freeman is going to suck this year, so therefore so will the team as well. Yah I'd say you belong on the list of negative posters. Would you say yourself that you have a positive outlook for the 2013 season? That's a yes or no answer btw.

@JMatUCF51..Thanks for the compliment. You seem like a very dedicated fan to want to drive from 3 hrs away just to see the Bucs. Hell some of these negative fans won't even drive 20 minutes to watch them play. If you want to meet me. I won't be hard to find on Sept 15th. I'll be at the corner of N Himes Ave and MLK Blvd for about 2 hours before kickoff. Waving a pretty good sized Buc flag for 2 hours straight, while my wife holds up a sign that's going to read Be Loud Today! We are bringing 2 of those signs into RJS a 1/2 hour before the game. We're going to hold them up at our gate as people are going up to the ramps and escalators.

As for anyone else in here that I've pissed off and might be attending the game. Now you know where to find me if you want to punch me in the face. Be careful though because I'm a ninja. LOL

  71. Buc1987 Says:

@Oil Derrick Brooks …never seen anything negative coming from you. Plus your an FSU fan. So that makes you okay with me. Unless of course you’d like to bash Jimbo Fisher? LOL

Oh well I’m seriously out of here for today anyways. Unless some more BS starts up that I can’t control myself. Have fun people.

  72. the_buc_realist Says:

how come i get labeled a “hater” Just cause my prediction that if things go right for the Bucs that they can secure 3rd place in the division. That would be improvement from last season, and has nothing to do with me rooting for the team.

  73. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

I call it like I see it. Whether it be positive or negative. Right now, it looks like the GM chose to roll the dice on the Dline, when shoring it up would not have been expensive. He has done that in the past with defensive back and running back. And, it’s cost the team. He tends to be risky for no apparent reason.

But, his drafting has improved the last few years. My favorite player on the team is probably Doug Martin.

The QB is nowhere near where I would expect going into his 5th year. My main concern when he was drafted was accuracy. My main concern now with the starting QB? You guessed it, accuracy. And that’s with superb WR’s, RB, and a $$$ O-line.

How far along do you expect Glennon to be after 56 starts?

My ultimate point is it’s absolutely comical to see someone scolding other fans on a message board. I hope you don’t think that what people post, affects the players. If you do, you need to get over yourself. It’s borderline delusional.

I can whip facts with the best of them, but, ultimately, it doesn’t matter. None of this matters.

This site, and all fan boards are for peoples opinions. And, just because you feel differently that some people, doesn’t make ANYONE an authority on what a good, bad, or whatever fan is.

You know the one thing worse than a negative nancy? The sports fan opinion police.

    Go Bucs and go Noles!

  74. Couch Fan Says:

Lol, I make 1 simple statement and I’m now a hater again. Bwahahaha…

I really could careless what jock sniffing people like BucFan1987 and Junkie have to say. Lol, there bias is only 2nd to there stupidity. It’s ok, be optimists all you want to… Keep crying over my opinions to.

    @BucFan1987

Glad to see your over your tantrum you through the other day and are commenting again.

  75. stevek Says:

    ODB,

    Preach it:

“You know the one thing worse than a negative nancy? The sports fan opinion police. ”

AMEN to that, how dare a Buc fan have differing thoughts, expectations and/ or opinions.

Go Bucs all the way to the playoffs in 2013, or else.

  76. Madmax Says:

1987, I dont care what you think of me either….I usually scroll over your tired posts bashing other posters here, like bucnjunkied.

But I’ll try to clarify your vodka fogged mind just this once…and you dont have to believe me, I dont giva a s..t!

I said, with the offensive weapons that we have, and if freeman isnt doing too well, Glennon would have a better chance…and “IF” “IF” (notice the word “if” and please allow it to resonate in your vodka soaked brain) Glennon was making some mistakes because he’s a rookie (duh), then at least he’s getting much needed reps and maybe he’ll turn out to be great…”IF” not, then we’re in better position for picking Clowney or Bridgewater.

How the Fk you extrapolate from that, that Im rooting for us to lose, is further proof of your dire vodka induced comprehension skills.

I actually want freeman to all of a sudden get better and fire on all cylinders, but I dont think he will, I havent seen it so far in the preseason. And I would love nothing more than to see Glennon show out “IF” “IF” given the chance. You seem to be against Glennon so Im going to start calling you a Glennon hater and you only want the bucs to do good if free is in the game. God Dm you stupid!!

  77. Madmax Says:

ODB, he likes you, so maybe what you said will resonate with him a little….well, until the vodka kicks in and makes “the big ugly evil protector” come out of his shell to “protect”….LMFAO…dude is out there a lot further than I originally thought! My gosh, lol.

  78. BigMacAttack Says:

I’m not sweating the season at all. I’m confident and love football so much that I can’t wait to get to the Stadium. I’m excited an feel our chances are Much better than they have been since Chucky was here. I think the Bucs are going to win the Division as a long shot. Feeling pretty good right now and win or lose I’m going to have a great season.

The Bucs will show up in Miami. Hide and watch. We’re gonna kick some butts!

  79. Capt. Tim Says:

Man, bigMacAttack!! That got me pumped up for the season! I hope you are spot on!

  80. BigMacAttack Says:

    Yea me too, brother.

  81. Buc1987 Says:

Okay people now you tell me if this is a positive or negative statement?

    MadMax says :

“Ive already given up on him because I saw the same slow decision/indecision on display already….and its just preseason for goodness sakes. Look, Im not fully convinced that Glennon will take us to the playoffs….but my gosh, given the offensive weapons, I think he has a better chance than Josh does….Why? He’s hungry, and he’s a quick study. Yes he’ll make some rook mistakes but how else can we navigate through it, and attempt to correct it, other than allowing him to get his reps.
I didnt see this coming. Josh was on fire in camp, even Joe was bragging about him. So if we must, go to Glennon (which I suspect will be the case soon) and let the chips fall into place. If we stink up the season, we’re in position for Clowney or Bridgewater!
Im not joking folks! Im tired of waiting on Josh to fix what is un-fixable, where the potential has ran its course, and the slow brain is what it is. Like it or not, I dont care. Thats what I see! And any of you F’ers want to F with me for not attempting to blindly share the sniffing duties of Josh’s jock strap can eat jit and kiss my azzz…I wont even respond to you anymore…you cant fix stupid!”

Then today MadMax says : 1987, I dont care what you think of me either….I usually scroll over your tired posts “bashing other posters here”, like bucnjunkied.

Ummm is that not what he did in his last paragraph? bashing posters?

  82. Buc1987 Says:

    SteveK says:

“AMEN to that, how dare a Buc fan have differing thoughts, expectations and/ or opinions.”

I think your both missing my point that many other people understood what was typed, can’t figure out how you misunderstood what was typed. So maybe I’ll shorten it for you by rephrasing your quote I used.

“AMEN to that, how dare a Buc fan have constant negative thoughts, negative expectations and/ or negative opinions on an everyday basis on a site called JoeBucs-“Fan”.

Keep in mind Steve I’m not the one that put you on a list. The entire 2 monster paragraphs that I wrote was to point out how much negative comments are said about the Bucs on a daily basis by the same people. Whether it be Freeman based or not. Last I checked he is a very big part of the Bucs. Although this all really had nothing to do with defending Freeman at all. More about defending my team. Which it seems many people in here have to do all the time. That is unfortunate. It’s worse than fighting with Eagles fans. Let’s all just sit here and pretend that the comments sections are not filled with negative posts about my team. Hey it’s what I’ve seen on a daily basis for the past 2 months in here. That’s just my OPINION!

  83. Madmax Says:

    I just took a s..t and, um….

  84. Madmax Says:

    …um, I wiped
    1987 was all in it…

  85. Madmax Says:

enough vodka yet? you’re starting early….

  86. Madmax Says:

    test

  87. Madmax Says:

Dude, you spend too much energy here trying to validate yourself!

@1987, I worry about you and your drinking man….please be ok…Look, I know we argue and jit, but in the end we pull for our Bucs. You disagree, I disagree, with the points of our thoughts. Its inevitable, It is what it is….

  88. Buc1987 Says:

Little Maxiepad isn’t it past your bedtime little child?

  89. Buc1987 Says:

    Maxiepad
Thanks for your concern, you need not worry about me. Sometimes I drink once a week, sometimes twice. As far as last night or tonight. Nope. If I was actually drunk off vodka last night, don’t you think those monster paragraphs would be riddled with typos galore? Sometimes when I mess up on something I typed, I blame it on the tequila, rum, vodka or what have you. Even if I was drinking, wtf does that have to do with anything? Again like I told Steve I’m not the one that made up the list. I stated my opinions quite clearly so the optimistic and positive people could look out for the ones that are always going negative. People can read your statements, and many others and decide if your negative or not. Again I was merely pointing it out so they could look out for it. Sorry if it bothers you. In my opinion, I don’t attack people. I defend my team.

  90. MadMax Says:

    😉

You dont bother me man….I bother you…and Im having a blast with it 🙂

  91. MadMax Says:

Its so nice not putting much effort into repeating myself, since 1987 is all over it…repeating my points over, and over, and over…

Dude I need your help in some other forums hahahaha.
