Bucs Get A Smart Tight End To Complete Draft

April 28th, 2012

Well, the final Bucs draft pick of 2012 ought to be able to learn a playbook and not run wrong routes in the final regular season game.

With the 233rd selection, the Bucs drafted Northwestern tight end Drake Dunsmore.

There’s not a lot of video on the guy, though some local diehards might remember him from a crazy Outback Bowl three years ago against Auburn.

    a Jack Harris pick……

He has the build to play fullback…not the skills…yet. But that TD is sweet.

I like it. Can’t complain. Though I suspect he’ll be working on run blocking in Tampa.

Played TE, drafted as a FB. Sounds like he will be an H-Back for us if he makes the team. Really glad we picked up a TE/FB.

That voice-over kid is the next Howard Cosell. What an epic highlight call!!

  5. Kujolw Says:

Kind of wanted Chase Ford, that guy is a beast 6’7 . Thought he’d been better and good value at that pick and he’s a Miami boy.

  6. Pete 422 Says:

Interesting pick given they want him to be a fullback, but his weakness is blocking.

Yeah, that kid doing the voice over has to curb the enthusiasm just a bit, don’t get overly excited now.
