Happy New Year Bucs Fans!

January 1st, 2012

Joe offers his heartfelt wishes to all his readers — every single one of you — sincere hopes for a prosperous 2012. Joe just cannot wait until tonight to officially kick sand on what has been a horrible 2011 season; far worse than any Bucs fans could have envisioned.

Joe appreciates each one of you, really. Without readers, Joe is just spit on the proverbial virtual windshield of the Internet.

Thanks to all of you, Joe has broken the one million mark for pageviews for the third straight month, and this month, even with the holidays, set a record for readers, pushing 400,000 visits for the month at this writing.

Again, thank you and let’s all hope for a better 2012. It can’t get much worse than 2011 on the football field, that’s for sure.

    Happy NY.

Now, lets tear this disaster completely down, except keep Freeman Joseph Bowers Clayborn and Price (foster I guess) discard everything else possible that contracts make possible.

Fire this horrible coach and staff, fire or demote the failed gm and personnel director – bring in a completely new group of Pros.

2012 will be a blast if that happens.

Reports are out this morning that the Glazers are disgusted with rah rah hanging out with the players and wanted to fire him 5 weeks ago but werent comfortable with their interim options.

Profootballtalk said jeff fisher seen at buccaneer team hotel, god let this be true. joe start digging

  15. Thomas 2.2 Says:

    Joe,

    Your resolution should be:

To never use the words “rock star” in reference to Mark Domink unless it refers to his trading card prowess.

You cant be a rock star GM when: you drafted Gerald Mccoy 3 overall and have paid him over 20 million dollars in 2 years for 4 career sacks (same number of game missing injuries) 30 tackles and 2 IR trips; 10 million plus to Mike Clayton and Derrick Ward; 12.5 million to Crowell (0 games), Nugent and Leftwich; you drafted Kyle Moore and Myron Lewis; extended Tanard Jackson after 3 drug offenses and on and on and on.

Here is to 17 total wins and a last place, next to last place and last place division finish under the Rah Dom regime. What a success!

I mentioned before, what they do with Dominick is our signal to the Glazer’s financial strength. If they demote him, it means he had ultimate power and money control but chose to jettison veterans and avoid free agents.

If he stays in similar role, the Bucs handcuffed him and realize that he is not at fault. But they will have to offer the new HC the idea that money will be spent. Hopefully, that scenario doesn’t play out Vince Naimoli and Lou Piniella.

  17. Everyone Have Your Brown Bags? Says:

BTW as a rd loyal Bucs fan, I will be rooting for a blow-out loss just to solidify the Glazer’s HC decision in case they are still hung-over from last night.

  18. Garv Says:

Can’t root for a loss, ever. I want players who care and want to win and I expect to see that today.
    Now…….having typed that.
Jeff Fisher would be a very nice choice if Raheem is fired.

BTW @Everyone Have Your Brown Bags?……I heard Joe was goin’ down to shoot his old lady
You know Joe caught her messin’ ’round with another man

    And yes……

    Happy New Year!!!
