Lots of interesting stuff out of sloppy Game 3 of the preseason. And Joe will have so much through the night and into the wee hours with reaction from the locker room.
Josh Freeman wasn’t sharp. The defensive line showed improvement. LeGarrette Blount is a third-down weapon. Arrelious Benn is healthy and hungry. Brandon Marshall ate up the Bucs’ secondary. Joe’s got plenty more to cover, as well.

YES LGB IS A THIRD DOWN WEAPON. I think we should nickname Blount LGB cuz it sounds kinda like LBJ which was the coolest president nickname ever.

Most of the team looked good except Freeman. Isn’t that the opposite of what we saw a lot of last season? Not worried about him, though. He tends to show up when it matters.
Encouraging signs from this defense tonight. All the starting defensive linemen looked very good. Clayborn & Bennett are giving me visions of a 40-sack season for this team. They look outstanding.
Biggers struggled the first couple series against Marshall but he does that to a lot of CB’s. Biggers settled down and played fairly well after that. I’m not worried about him against any WR’s except really big, physical guys like Marshall and Megatron. But we have Talib now so Megatron can go take a hike.
To all the Talib haters: he will NOT be suspended AT ALL this year!!! Yeah, baby!!! Nothing of any sort will happen until at least March 2012. Did you hear the news? Read it and weep! Hahaha!
