Simeon Rice Talks Bucs Super Bowl

February 2nd, 2011

Former Bucs great defensive end Simeon Rice often talks in tongues. Listen and watch Rice ramble in this BSPN video about the Bucs’ legacy from winning the Super Bowl, Mike Tomlin and other subjects. Joe was getting to the point where he wanted subtitles.

I’m surprised he wasn’t saying how he could still play and the league is disrespecting him.

  2. Dave Says:

How many tracks does Simeon have for each train of thought?

I’m afraid the ole Simeon Rice “Yard”, has no “Yardmaster”! Better known as Malfunction Junction!

wow it’s just like when my nephew tries to tell me a story haha

I remember when Simeon called Gruden a scumbag

  6. BigMacAttack Says:

Sim may have looked a little bit laid back (stoned) to me, but he is a pretty smart guy. The things he said made sense… or maybe I just understood him because I’m a little laid back right now. Go Bucs!!!

Simeon had one great skill. He had really fast hands. He was amazing at reaching around a tackle, and just flicking the ball out of the QB’s hand! Used ta love watching that. There is a kid in college that seems to have that talent- the much maligned Adrian Clayborn. He shows some of those same “quick Twitches”. Thin that’s why the Bucs will Draft him.

  8. MVPFreeman Says:

I hope your right Capt. Tim. The second coming of Simeon Rice is just what our defense needs.

  9. MVPFreeman Says:

….Gruden is a scumbag, a scumbag that cant draft.

  10. Capt.Tim Says:

MvPFreeman- it is a rare trait .Simeon was just cool, with that fumble causing slap. Drove QBs crazy. If Clayborn brings that to game, Qbs will keep stepping up in the pocket-into McCoy and Price! Now thats something to get excited about!

Well, atleast he’s Super Bowl winning scumbag! Thank you Mr. Gruden for our NFL Championship!

I completely agree with everything you wrote about Simeon. I love seeing all of the forced fumbles he caused on the Super Bowl season highlights dvd, and he has some great highlights on the 2005 season dvd, as well. I don’t know anything about Adrian Clayborn, because I do watch college football, I don’t really pay attention to a lot of players, until they’re actually on the Bucs’ team; that way I don’t get attached or all jazzed about someone that does not end up on my team. But I do agree we could use someone like him on the Bucs’ d-line again to help out.
