Scott Reynolds Is Filled With Love

February 16th, 2011

Joe has a sensitive side. So Joe was touched by all the love dancing off the fingertips of PewterReport.com beat writer-and-chief Scott Reynolds.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, Reynold’s wrote a long, personal love list of all things Bucs and asked his readers and Facebook friends to study it. Joe’s never seen a journalist pen such a list of love, so Joe wanted to share some of Reynolds’ gushing snippets.

• I LOVE that Tampa Bay finished with a winning record. Covering a winning football team is a lot more fun than covering a 3-13 football team for a variety of reasons.

• I LOVE the fact that the Bucs don’t have any jerks in the locker room. It makes my job a lot easier.

• I LOVE the fact that Tampa Bay finished the 2010 season strong and got the fans excited about the upcoming season.

• I LOVE that there should be more Bucs fans in the stands next year because the Glazers reduced ticket prices in 2011.

• I LOVE the Bucs P.R. staff, which is so easy to work with. They are the best in the business, in my opinion.

Reynolds went on to crank out 27 LOVE notes in total.

Joe wishes his heart was filled with all that sunshine.

It is amazing how a little palm greasing can rose-color one’s judgment. I know that Joe has a professional respect for the PR folks, but I can’t read that propaganda for 2 minutes without dismissing it.

That is why my sunny opinions have made there way to JBF which I know thrills everyone. Some of your opinions sound very similar to SR’s.

I bet that Hawaiian and gitarlvr can create a LOVELIST hundreds of items long about third in the division and missing the playoffs.

My list would start and end with Josh Freeman (maybe a little Greg Olsen, Ronde, DJ, Blount, M Will, Cody Grimm)

We wish yer heart was filled with love ,Too, Joe! Such a bitter guy- lol.
Wow- that’s too much love for even those most dedicated Fan! I am gonna copy the article, though. I believe if I post it a couple times, it will help alleviate the “Thomas/Guest 27″infestation- sorta like “Raid” or” Decon”. If those two read that much Buc love, we’ll find them in the morning with their feet up in the air. We’ll be sweeping out the front door. Then I’ll be sending Scott a thank you letter. I might even tell him I love him too! Lol

  3. HIRE GREG OLSON! Says:

Way to leave out Donald Penn, Thomas.

You claim to be this true fan who looks at the Bucs objectively, yet you totally overlook our premiere left tackle (one of the best of the NFC).

It’s ok, most little girls like yourself, have no idea how important a good LT is…

  4. Capt.Tim Says:

He was probably succumbing to the “Buc Love”. I’m sure reading that made his dizzy(ier) and Queazy

  5. jvato24 Says:

I read both PR and JBF. But admittedly end up here more as PR only puts out updates every 3 or 4 days or so. Seems since Jim Flynn left it is missing something.

I like the fact Joe covers radio intvws with the GM and other things, PR totally misses that.

But when PR had the mag it was the stuff!!! That was awesome … I just cant get into the online mag .. dont even really read them

  6. oar Says:

Hey, look at that! I didn’t know Freeman grew a mustache! Awesome!

  7. oar Says:

    Hey Joe,
Does that mean they will be replacing the ole pirate ship in CITS to a carnival cruiseliner?

  8. Joe Says:

    Good one oar.

  9. Blake Says:

    Jvato,

Couldn’t have said it better myself. I’m the same way. I love all the Bucs coverage here but the area misses Flynn.

  10. Thomas 2.2 Says:

I agree Hire Greg O! I did forget about Penn, he should have been included. Who says I can’t admit when I have made a mistake?

  11. m.wesley Says:

what a great coach you forgot about RAHIEM THE GREAT thomas!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. eric Says:

Man when this bubble bursts it will cause more sheep crying than a spring day in New Zealand.

  13. m.wesley Says:

Eric alot of joking goes on on this blog but the way I see it that in the Glazers gives a coach six years to win a superbowl now matter if you win nfc titles, playoff games[Dungy].Gruden won the big one in 02,fired six years later. They want superbowls

  14. oar Says:

Team owners want SuperBowls? Is that what they play for in the NFL!? I did not know that!

  15. gitarlvr Says:

Thomas- Dont you get it? Its not Hawaiian and gitarlvr. Its everybody. Everybody but you and Eric and your new third wheel(probably just your alt.) Guest#27. Everybody else loves whats going on with the Bucs these days. You couple of sad little miscreants are the only ones with your heads so far up your rectums as to actually not be excited about this team. But like people with serious personality disorders would typically do, you believe its the whole rest of Bucs nation that is wrong and has a problem while you and the other couple losers in your sad little Gruden circle jerk are the only ones who know the truth.

Eric, Thomas, Guest#27- Just so you all know, constantly thinking of and referring to your fellow man as “sheep” really exposes just how pathetic you are. Only emotionally crippled, delusional narcissists go around thinking of people as sheep. But keep on enlightening us great unwashed masses, you paragons of wisdom. Maybe you guys need this. Maybe the false sense of superiority you get from believing your winning arguments on here is the only thing keeping you from committing suicide. I guess I should try to be more sensitive to your obvious mental instability and be nicer to you guys.

  16. eric Says:

    Emotionally crippled narcissist?

Thats what my ex wives say!

Sorry I hurt everyones feelings with sheep remarks. I think ill switch to “pathetic weak ass lemmings”.

  17. oar Says:

Well better than Wyoming, where the men are men and the sheep are scared!

  18. Hawaiian Buc Says:

To be honest, Thomas, my lovelist is probably not much longer than yours. But the big difference between me and you is that I don’t have a hatelist. I don’t hate Raheem, I don’t hate McCoy, and I don’t even hate the Glazers. With you, anyone who doesn’t make your lovelist automatically makes your hatelist. I do love this team, and I always will. You are never going to see me cheering for another team, for ANY reason. If that bothers you or makes me a “sheep”, then I really don’t give a sh!t and baaaaaaaaa! It’s just going to make all of our victories next year and thereafter even sweeter because I know scum like you are going to be wrong again.

  19. Capt.Tim Says:

Eric- or, you could switch to the more accurate” not delussionally in love with the failed OC, Lil Chucky!”

Thomas 2.2 reads PR for 2 min….. any comments there Thomas 2.2?
or did you get the boot?
I am one of the few fans that I’ve seen BamBam (I think it is him) is another that uses the same name on other sites. Not saying there are not others out there I have only seen or remember BamBam.
Hey I’m not afraid of anything I put on any of the sites to be read by fans. I don’t go out of my way to run other fellow posters views into the ground. Or to rag on the coach/GM or players. but to each their own. I have my own opinion as well and give it how I see it.
