Bucs-Saints Highlights

January 2nd, 2011

The Bucs may have missed the playoffs, thanks largely to a touchdown stolen from Kellen Winslow two weeks ago, but that doesn’t mean Bucs fans cannot wallow in enjoyment of the Bucs beating the Saints in New Orleans.

Naturally Joe has the video highlights, courtesy of the good people of the NFL Network.

Josh Freeman to Dezmon Briscoe for 54 yards.

Down goes Drew Brees

Freeman to Mike Williams for a 17-yard touchdown.

Down goes Brees again.

Run Michael run Spurlock for a 69-yard return.

Drew Brees… fum-bull!

Perhaps Mo Stovall’s last catch as a Bucs receiver for 38 yards.

Briscoe with a touchdown.

Barrett Ruud makes a splash play (!), his first since Chicago 2008.

LeGarrette Blount rumbles for 16 yards.

Geno Hayes puts Brees on the turf.

All the game highlights in one video.

Lastly, the press conferences of Raheem Morris and Freeman.

So sad we had to pin our playoff hopes on Jay Cutler. Just wait til he disappoints the fans of Chicago. Oh well, on to next year. We can come back with a fire and fury that will knock the NFC around like ragdolls.

  3. Pete 422 Says:

I was impressed the defense played so well against the Saints. This team gained a lot of experience while they won 10 games. The Atlanta and Detroit losses I chalk up to inexperience. They way this team learned on the fly this year, I’m excited to see how much better they are next year.

  4. Jon Says:

Raheem and Dominik should get Coach of the Year and GM of the Year awards.

Thanks for one hell of a season Bucs! With the exception of two games, you gave every opponent hell! I loved every down, and look forward to primetime games next year!

Man, watching those highlights is absolutely incredible. We all know how good Mike Williams is at going up for the ball, and Arrelious Benn has shown an ability to get open deep and make the catch, but Dezmon Briscoe is another big target with good hands and feet. We could have 3 WRs next year that can catch, run good routes, keep feet in bounds, and are all over 6 feet tall and over 200 lbs. Even Preston Parker had a pretty good game today. Throw a smaller Stroughter in the mix in the slot and we’ve got 5 WRs that can really be something special. That’s not even talking about Spurlock or Stovall.

If we get Caddy back, the combination of Blount and Caddy seems to work exceptionally well. I’m not sold on Huggins yet, but he could be that break-away runner in the mix.

Put all that behind Penn, Larsen, Faine, and Joseph, with Zuttah as depth, and maybe Lee at RT with Freeman leading the whole thing….. that’s pretty scary by itself, and we’ve got the off-season to add more depth/firepower.

  14. Joe Says:

Dezmon Briscoe is another big target with good hands and feet.

Love how he used his feet to stay inbounds for the touchdown.

    @Hire Greg Olsen,

I wonder if Buc You and friends are going to blame Raheem for Shaun King’s arrest? This is an obvious lack of control of former players, right?

  16. BROCKTACULAR Says:

    LMFAO!!!!!!!

  17. McBuc Says:

You can not be mad at the Seahawks for the rules. In fact, I am going to cheer for them. Maybe they will pull an AZ on everyone.

  18. McBuc Says:

I hope ref loving Atlanta gets blown out in their first game.
