December 14th, 2010

Look what the Bucs have done to the Redskins crowd as a result of the Bucs win at FedEx Field Sunday in this CSNWashington.com video. Joe is amused.

I couldn’t get through the first :40 of this garbage. I could care less about Redskin fans. We played poorly on a number of fronts and feel fortunate that the Bucs got out with a win. Move along already.

I like how the guys who DIDN’T EVEN WALK IN THE STADIUM, are telling us how Bucs fans don’t travel well. Give me a break.

I’m from Jersey, and I made it out to my first Bucs game this past Sunday in Washington. I have to say, there were a nice number of Bucs fans representing the team in the stadium…even further, it was a great feeling handing out high fives to the scattered fans as we all walked back to our cars. GO BUCS!!

Hey Joe, I live here in DC. The greatest thing is the sports radio up here, they are using the Bucs as an example of how the Skins should re-build. There still not sure about McNabb, have no WR’s it’s just a mess! They are amazed that the Bucs were 3 and 13 last year, have the youngest team in the league and the lowest payroll. They think the Bucs are going to be a dynasty, so do I…. It’s a SHAME they don’t get the same love down in Tampa…

    Joe,

To what depths of the internet do you have to scour to come up with crap like that?

  7. Gary Says:

    Totally true Chargedcbh.

I live in the DC area as well (suburb in MD actually) and have to agree. Its sad our own fans in Tampa can’t recognize something our opponents fans do.

You build it they will come, right? The fans in Tampa and the rest of FL will start showing up at Games in the future Freeman, Blount, Williams, Benn and Winslow are a VERY formidable talent grouping and as this group grows together look out.

Awesome job by the coaches and FO. Just a fantastic job, this young of football teams are not supposed to be this resilient , but these Bucs are.

DC Guys, I think most of our fan base is starting to recognize our team’s potential, but most of our local fans are broke. I also think the Glazers poisoned their well to a certain extent with their antics. Maybe their plan will pay off but they surely alienated a lot of fans in the process. When all the good jobs are Government Jobs, and their still hiring, something is wrong with the picture.
