One-Hand Caddy Catch Was Critical

December 12th, 2010

Joe can’t sit on this. The sick one-hand catch by Cadillac Williams in the flat on 3rd-and-11 to set up the Bucs’ second field goal was extraordinary, especially with him contorting for the ball on a wet day.

Wow.

Sad that the FOX crew completely ignored the magnitude of the play. The Bucs are punting and probably lose the game if Caddy doesn’t make that grab.

Caddy now has 41 catches on the season. A free agent after the season, he’s playing for a contract at this point and Joe wonders whether he’s coming back.

Good point and maybe it is because I have watched Any Given Sunday like 47 times this month but this is really a game of inches. You do not have to look far into that game to see it.

The FOX crew really was sad. Tony Moose and Goose should all be retired. I hate that networks continue to trot out veterans who’ve suffered multiple concussions in their careers to allegedly deliver intelligent analysis on football games. If I could sync it properly I’d much rather hear a senile Gene Deckerhoff dubbed over the video of these gamecasts from now on. At least he has genuine passion for the game he is calling

You have to love Caddy. The dude has so much heart and just never gives up.
He is my all-time favorite Buc.
