"Oh, Joe. This is reason to cheer."

After a conversation today with a knowledgeable insider at One Buc Place, JoeBucsFan.com is pleased to report that the Bucs-Steelers game on Sunday, Sept. 26, is expected to be televised in the Tampa Bay area.

The Bucs are within about 4,000 tickets of selling out the game, sales have been brisk, and the game will be televised, JoeBucsFan.com was told under the condition of anonymity.

Fans searching for tickets on Ticketmaster.com now will find limited groups of paired tickets available and no pairs available in the lower three price ranges, $40, $55 and $75.

This is great news for Bucs fans and the community.

Plenty of good seats remain for the two home games following the Steelers-Bucs contest, Oct. 17 against New Orleans and Oct. 24 versus St. Louis.

Glory halleluiah! A Bucs home game that will be televised in the Tampa Bay area!

  2. d-money Says:

Expect a lot of Steelers fans.

  3. oar Says:

Gee, did we have a rise in the local population or is Joe’s black-out tour bus on blocks that week? LOL!

  4. eric Says:

    Excellent!

    Glad Freeman likes blitzes.

  5. Eric S Says:

There probably is going to be a ton of Steelers fans sadly. I figured the first 2 home games would have sold out. I was wrong on the opening game. I am curious about the Saints. You would think a game against the defending SB champs would sell out as well. But you never know. I don’t think there is a chance in hell that the Rams game will sell out.

no more blackout tour!!!no more blackout tour!!!no more blackout tour!!!
    yayayayayaay

  7. Chargedcbh Says:

This is a VERY important game, even though Ben is not playing it’s still important. Reminds me of the Bucs vs the 49ers. For a very young team this will be a HUGE win.

  8. eric Says:

    Win?

  9. Lakeland Bob Says:

    Who woke up Eric?

  10. d-money Says:

    Yes Eric win.

The steelers are a young team and it will be a huge win for them.

  11. Patrick Says:

Maybe if they at least get close to selling out the game, we’ll be fine. The Glazers can just purchase the few seats left over.

  12. goodfellajay Says:

    yes win…you are a fan…and not a hater right

  13. NegativeExpectations Says:

    Loss. The bucs lose.

  14. BigMacAttack Says:

We will still be LOUDER than all the Steeler fans combined. They have serious QB issues to boot.

Stub-hub has pairs, 3, 4 seat groups in the upper deck at a reasonable cost. Plenty of good seats and a few cheap ones to.

Negative Expectations, I see you are slumming it as usual.

  15. Mr. Lucky Says:

hey guys – reality check. IT”S THE PITTSBURG STEELERS!

the Steelers didn’t have Big Ben last week and their defense won the game for them. Unless the Buc’s O-line get’s their act together you’re dreaming.

Lets see how the boys do in 2 days before getting all pumped up on airplane glue ok?

  16. Larry Says:

Their OL is pretty terrible but that defense is mean.

  17. Jerry Says:

Looks like Pittsburgh has a home game in week 3.

Those arnt Bucs fans buying all those tickets.

Sports fans in this city suck!

  18. Capt.Tim Says:

Poor Zero expectations! This guy’s parents totally ignored this kid. He is sooo desperate for attention. He doesn’t even watch football. He just writes Lil one sentence post, always the opposite of the rest of us. It’s really sad how bad he needs us to notice him, isn’t it. Zero- you are going about this all wrong! As I’ve posted before, being a hater won’t get you noticed. Being gay won’t do it either! That just makes you a whinny Lil bitch. And believe me, We ALL try to ignore those! Try being a man. Post something intelligent! People will actually take the time to talk to you. I think that’s your best option! Unless . . . Meybe you aren’t capable of acting like a man, or intelligent post . . Well, if ya can’t pull that off, jus keep being a whinny bitch. I’ll argue with ya once in a while, jus cause I feel sorry for ya!

  19. Pete Dutcher Says:

It’s going to be hard for the Bucs to sell out those remaining tickets without at least having some pairs left. Most people attend the games in groups or pairs.

That said, do the Bucs have to actually sell every ticket? Aren’t they allowed a small amount of leeway on it?

  20. Pete Dutcher Says:

PFT picked up your story, Joe.

  21. Tempco Says:

The Bucs may also be playing some games. I was offered club seats if I traded in that days season tickets. They did the samething last year.

  22. BigMacAttack Says:

The Bucs have the option to buy up any remaining tickets at $.34 on the dollar, is my understanding. That is still a little over $150K at this point but probably worth it. The Bucs played well last week all in all. I have several friends who were upset with the blackout (not really what I would call “Die-Hards” like all of us idiots) who have bought tickets and are going to see Pissburgh. I think we will see more Buc Fans in the stands and not just Pissburgh fans. It would be awesome if they could keep Rapistberger on the Sidelines in a Cage as a show attraction, like hanging from a cherry-picker or something, or in Dunk-Tank filled with urine. Hows that for overthetop Hate?

  23. Capt.Tim Says:

BigMacAttack- great ideas for Rapistberger. A lot of people seem ok with him now that he’s done his little ” couciling”. Yea, well I’m not!! Dragging some girl in the mens room, and having his bodyguard keep her friends out while he rapes her, is a rapist. Not the first time either. Considering how many bimbos wanna sleep with this jerkoff, he has to work at it to rape someone!! I’ve lost a lot of respect for both the Rooneys and the Steelers over this. Rapistberger needs ta be horse whipped, not idolized on TV! Jus my opinion!

  24. Milledgeville Police Says:

Typically, we prosecute and charge rapists with crimes. Contrary to popular retarded belief, bangin’ chicks in restrooms is not rape.

  25. Morgan Says:

Thanks Steeler fans for buying tickets to avoid a blackout. Now Buc fans can see their team on TV instead of going to the games.

  26. steel curtain Says:

The curtain is going to roll the bucs. WE will be waiving our terrible towels all over the place. The only reason this game sold out is because it is cost efficient to fly to florida and buy tickets because the home games in pitt are sold out all the TIME. Its like a free vacation. This will be a fun game to attend for the steeler nation. All you tight wad bucs fans need to thank us steelers fans so they can sit at home on there couches and not go out to support the home team. I do have to say one thing raheem the dream has no chance of being the next tomlinson which is what the glazers are hopeing. sorry for your luck bucaroos

  27. BROCKTACULAR Says:

@ SCHPIEL JERKIN Ya better hope Charlie Snatch can attempt to stay in the game BECAUSE our CASTOFF who was YOUR castoff [Byron Nuttwitch]will get pounded by our up and coming KILLER D. And then who will you put out next? Antwan Randle-El? Hines Ward? Kordel Stewart? Youre gonna need those terrible towels to wipe your @$$ when we knock the $hit outta them!!!
