Who Was The Bucs’ Star Of The Game?

August 15th, 2010

Though the Bucs lost in the preseason opener, there were some good things to come out of it. Feel free to choose which player made the biggest impression.

The way Freeman looked last night, he has to be the star of the game!

  3. flea Says:

WOuldn’t have picked any of these guys, Mike Bennett all the way

  4. Mr. Lucky Says:

Sorry but I didn’t vote for freeman because you need to play more than 2 series to get MVP for a GAME!

IM SO SICK OF FAKE FANS..why even watch or come on a Bucs fan site…omg what a loser nerd jackass you are Frank…go jack off

Mr. Lucky..so what dont vote for him the world doesnt care who you voted for…Freemen played good..Dont hate

  7. CharlieB Says:

The world cares as much about Mr. Lucky’s opinion as they do of yours. Don’t hate on a guy because he disagrees with you. I actually agree with Mr. Lucky. Two series does not a star make. That’s not to say Freeman didn’t play well, he did great. Still, two plays is not a sustained effort.

My vote is for Stroughter. He finds ways to get open and make plays, regardless of the Josh throwing to him. I still think his development will continue to surprise us.

    Flea:

Michael Bennett would have been a good choice as well. Joe was a bit sleep deprived in not adding him.

  9. McBuc Says:

Charlie…By your standarsds Joe should not have put up a poll at all, no one played the entire game. GFJ is just excited about the team and the potential they showed. The pros all talked about how great Freeman looked, and Joe put a poll for entertainment, nit by the standards you and Frank want Joe should have just stayed in bed or something. Get over it, Freeman looked good regardless of how long he was in the game.

On another note, Joe…Do you think the gam,e would have ended different if Miami would have played their third string QB more than on series to take a couple of knees?

Freeman couldn’t have played much better for the short time in the game. I would rate him a 10 on that performance. Wow!

  11. Mr. Lucky Says:

goodfellajay – I posted my opinion about why I couldn’t vote for Freeman. I didn’t have anything negative to say about Josh – to the contrary I wrote on other posts that he did great.

But just like there is a minimum number of players before a player is eligable for the the Pro Bowl or All Stars I thought it was prudent to point out that a QB rating of 158 for 12 snaps isn’t very statistically significant.

You on the other hand had NOTHING to add to the football discussion. Instead all you did is comment about other posters opinions. Are you that stupid that you can’t have your own opinion that you can back up?

I personally am tired of IGNORANT posters like you who are the real haters in the world. Instead of discussing facts/plays, etc., all you do is attack and attack and name call. Cyber-stalking wierdo is more like it.

Sorry about that everyone….I feel better now…back to your regularly scheduled Bucs commentary.

calm down guys… both are right. Obviously Freeman played very little and still we felt great about it because as soon as that TD was scored, the only thing running through my mind was “good, now get the entire 1st string O the hell outta there!”.

I thought Biggers was awesome, he was all over the place. huggins might be the real deal, I have to see how he runs on a regular field first though.
