Video Lowlights Of Bucs Loss To Dolphins

August 15th, 2010

josh johnson 0814Why “lowlights?” Well, in Joe’s eyes, if the Bucs lose, it’s lowlights, not highlights.

At any rate, videos courtesy of the good people at the NFL Network.

First up are Josh Freeman’s passes to Mike Williams and his touchdown pass to Sammie Stroughter.

Next is E.J. Biggers’s fumble recovery.

Kareem Huggins checks in with a 35-yard run.

Lastly, Cody Grimm makes some plays on special teams.

Geez Joe, it was obvious that our first and second string annihilated the Dolphins! The fact that some soon to be aluminum siding salesmen lost it in the end doesn’t bother me much. Then again, everything I’ve been saying for months is proving to be so true, that I should change my title to”Prophet Tim”! JimBuc- where are you! We miss you!

They did look very good Nostradamis Tim. Just temper your enthusiasm a bit. It’s only preseason and there is a lot of football yet to be played. When Freeman can call protections on his own and look off safeties in the regular season, then we’re home free.

Yeah, it’s only week 1 of preseason, so we still have a lot to see from this team in the next few weeks. However, at this point I would say things look “promising”. By that, I’m not saying they’ll win 10 games and make the playoffs, but that they look like a team that can “compete”. Teams on the fringe like that, teams that “compete”, can go 3 different ways. They can win those close games, lose those close games or split those close games. That, unfortunately, leaves us completely in the dark about the upcoming season. they could be 3-13 again (losing close games), they could be 10-6 and playoff bound (winning close games) or they could be between 6-10 and 8-8 (split close games). All that says to me is it will be fun to watch the season and see where they end up.

FormerBuc- lol., I know, I know! But it’s so cool to have these young players around to get excited about! I love Buc Football! And really like the character and work ethic the new guys seem to bring to the team! I think there are good days ahead for the Bucs!

Anyone else think Carlos Brown looked pretty good last night? XD

  6. Capt.Tim Says:

    Jesse- yup, me too!
