Warren Sapp Posts Bail And Is Released From Jail

February 7th, 2010

The notorious TMZ.com, which is far more often correct than wrong, has news that former Bucs great and NFL Network analyst Warren Sapp has been released from jail and will be able to watch the Super Bowl while not locked in a cage.

He posted the $1,500 bond and was ordered to stay away from the alleged victim.

Sapp was arrested yesterday and charged with domestic battery for allegedly slapping around his girlfriend of two years at 5 a.m. Saturday. As a result, Sapp, who was in Miami as part of the NFL Network team of reporters and analysts covering the Super Bowl, has been pulled from the network’s coverage.

Per TMZ.com, Sapp’s lawyer asked everyone to “reserve judgement” on Sapp. Joe agrees.

Usually it’s a player that gets in trouble the night before. What a dumb ass.. It seems his media career was in full swing. I guess it’s all about the karma. Although I loved him on my team.. I was less of a fan of his say as Brooks, Lynch, and Barber.

Sapp was a fabulous athlete, even with that rotund body………………but apparently brains aint his strong suit. Of course any woman who hangs with Sapp assumes the risk in my opinion, I wonder how long it will take for her to try and cash in on this incident.
