Stovall Doesn’t Want A Quarterback Change

September 20th, 2009

If anyone is of the mind that the Bucs should start playing Josh Johnson or the Bucs should throw Josh Freeman to the wolves (Giants) next week , wide receiver Maurice Stovall is not your friend.

Stovall, talking on the Bucs radio network after the loss to the Bills, gave full and strong support to Bucs quarterback Bryon Leftwich.

“Byron Leftwich is a great leader,” Stovall said. “He’s always coming up to guys, ‘Hey, keep it going.’ He has great stamina and is making good reads at the line.

“Byron Leftwich is doing just what a good quarterback is supposed to do.”

why would he…..Gonewich is the only QB to throw him the ball in a regular season game….that and he has seen the QB bench

  2. Tye Says:

He is for Leftwich probably because when Stovall drops the ball or just doesn’t seem to come down with it he knows that he can blame it on Leftwich’s HORRIBLE Qb attributes and people will likely believe him.

Stoval is tall enough to catch those over thrown balls Leftwich should want him in the game too. Drown the Dream pretty good I still prefer Waterboy… I did see a post on Buc report calling Morris a douche nozzle I fell off my chair .. I think I like that one the best
