Raheem The Dream’s Approval Rating Low

September 28th, 2009

If it can happen in politics, why not sports?

That must be the mindset of the coloring book crowd at BSPN.com. They have instituted an NFL coaches approval rating system where the public casts votes on how popular they are.

If Obama thinks his approval ratings have sunk since he has tried to wreck modern medicine in the United States, he has nothing on Raheem the Dream whose approval rating is just above forward-thinking, two-bit actor Eric Mangini and dead man walking Jim Zorn.

If Morris and that offensive coordinator can’t see they need to change up something on offense, then what was the point in letting all those veterans go if you cant coach the young guys and teach them anything? Now I know what a Chiefs fan feels like.

Joe isn’t nearly ready to pull the rug out from under Raheem the Dream’s feet. One cannot make chicken salad out of the douchebag on local sports radio in the afternoon who can’t even get a 0.1 rating. While Raheem the Dream is not blameless in this, as much as this truly pains Joe to type this, one must also look inside the walls of One Buc Palace as to who is pulling the strings on personnel matters.

Joe I can’t agree less with you on this one. Raheem had his chance and he’ blown it so badly. I’m sorry but:

    1. you can’t be buddies with the players be the freaking coach & make the tough decisions (heck make SOME decisions)

    2. His hisory of choosing OC – Jeff Jags was a bust and DC Jim Bates looks just as dismal

    3. Raheem is continuing to back Bryon when he’s got JJ in the wings and HIS pick of Freeman as well? Where can I send a tape of Sanchez’s performance to Raheem?

Now you and others can see what an unqualified coach can do to an ailing NFL team just imagine what Barak’s “healthcare reform” will do to the ailing healthcare system in the US.

The biggest difference between Raheem’s dismantling of the Bucs and Barack’s proposed fundamental changes is this:

Bryon Leftwich only looks like he’s getting killed on the field. With Obama’s changes the deaths will be real – to jobs and lives.

To quote Nancy Regan, “Just Say No!”

    Mr. Lucky:

If you are comparing Mark Sanchez and Josh Freeman you need to go back to bed. The only remote similarity between the two are they are both called a quarterback.

Let’s be perfectly honest here-about 18 months ago (I’m sure if I’m off by a month or two some of the two or three polly-ana types that still are stupid enough to drink the Raheem Kool-Aid will set me straight) this guy was the video/quality control guy.

To be head coach in such a short time seems to me the equivilent of handing a sucessful 12 year old go-cart driver the keys to a full blown F-1 Ferrari.

I’ve heard some of these polly-ana types say “he’s young, he’s enthusiastic, he’s smart-he has everything you need except experience!”.

What if I told you the same about your pilot on a trans-Atlantic flight? You’d be off that plane and back on the ground like a hobo on a ham sandwich.

Bottom line-this guy ain’t got it-never had it-couldn’t lead flies to fresh dog shit-his decisions (and those of his inexperienced OC and has-been DC) are absolutely atrocious-I did not think I would ever see as bad a game out of this team-obvious to me that after 3 games the players have just plain tuned this bozo out–guys it’s only going to get worse.

I knew hiring this guy was a huge mistake-but even I am surprised by the magnitude of his ineptitude.

  4. Joe Says:

    Quality commentary as always Gino!

  5. lightningbuc Says:

You all are racists – well, at least according to the Democrats!

  6. Paul Says:

“I knew hiring this guy was a huge mistake-but even I am surprised by the magnitude of his ineptitude.” That pretty much sums it up for alot of people. We knew the sh*t was going to stink, we just did not know we were going to get hit in the face by it also.

Did I mention that I miss Gruden?

  8. oldskoolbucsfan Says:

But I still dont miss the Culverhouses

  9. Phil a '76 Buc Says:

This season is already over. Glazers step up. Fire this turkey and his band of incompetent has been’s and never will be’s. Let’s get a PROFESSIONAL core in there and give them the rest of this year to evaluate the changes they need to make in the off season to put a competitive product on the field next year.

  10. Tye Says:

    I 2nd the motion by Phil a ’76 Buc.

The Glazer family was not in their right mind when they hired this clown as a HC not even having any experience at being a coordinator much less a winning one. Those who are rational and sane can see that this guy throughout most if not all his decision making has done nothing BUT ruin this team and set them back many years just to get back to where they were. (UGH!)

    “Mr. Lucky:

Then WHY did the Bucs use the #17 overall pick to take him? Didn’t Josh Freeman himself say that he was better than Sanchez?

As for letting Freeman stand on the sidelines holding a clipboard what’s he going to learn? Watching Byron – only bad habits. Maybe th Bucs QB coach will help the young Freeman become the quality QB he is destined to become…Oh that’s right the Bucs don’t have a QB coach because Raheem didn’t hire one!

  12. Tye Says:

“Didn’t Josh Freeman himself say that he was better than Sanchez?”

Yes he did make that statement. But now we know, much like Morris, he talks a lot of trash but the results prove differently.

People are so worried about ruining this kid by putting him in the game to early. That should be proof enough that he did not even deserve to be taken in the 1st round much less move up for him. If teams are going to sign 1st round QBs to that much money, they should be able to earn it not sit on the side lines and not contribute!

  13. kappa08 Says:

hey joe do what you know and stay away from REAL issues that affects peoples lives….Pretty ignorant comment “..tried to wreck modern medicine in the United States..” tell that to the WHO(that’s World Health Organization since you’re all ‘clever’ and all) that ranks this country 37th in healthcare. Below Cuba….That’s right.
Like I said stick to football. Leave the BIG BOY issues to BIG BOYS….

  14. lightningbuc Says:

    Hey kappa08,

Feel free to go over to that bastion of medical expertise, Cuba, next time you need some work done, BIG BOY!
