Dirtbag Owens Targets Bucs Secondary

September 17th, 2009

Media whore, petulant child, overall malcontent and coach/quarterback killer Terrell Owens is at it again (shocking, right?).

The Buffalo wide receiver (again) called out his quarterback and claims if his quarterback can read defenses, he will torch the Bucs’ secondary Sunday, reports Buffalo News columnist Terry Sullivan.

“”It’s always a work in progress, and Trent has to better assess what he’s seeing out there and take some shots down the field,” Terrell Owens said.

The second game hasn’t been played yet and Sullivan has already called out Owens in a live chat the Buffalo News had Wednesday. Apparently Owens, who enjoys the klieg lights of television cameras, has no use for the digital recorders of the print reporters of upstate New York.

So Owens ran out of the Bills locker room like the child he is after the loss to the Patriots and Sullivan blasted him.

I expect a star player to be there after games. Period. Especially, as I wrote, a guy who has a public forum. It’s a big deal when he talks. He made it that way. This is the reporter in me talking. I have standards for these situations. I will not let him off easy. I don’t care about his antics off the field. I didn’t watch his TV show. I don’t find him that interesting, actually. But I want him at his locker 16 times, after games. That’s not too much to ask.

Joe would love nothing more than for Geno Hayes to blow up this mental patient. That is if he still has the balls to go over the middle.

Ok Joe – I HEARD T.O.’s comments on ESPN this morning with Mike & Mike in the morning. The comments that TO made were taken out of context. TO sounded reasonable and he wasn’t throwing anyone under the bus.

In fact if any other WR had said the same thing about a game they lost, like Buffalo did to NE, nothing would have even been written.

Don’t parrot the headlines on this one Joe – listen to the tape and make an indepedant decision.

Stop drinking Kool-Aid! (actually Flavor Aid)

Second comment – Who the hell is Sullivan anyway?

The loss that the Bills had on Monday night was a real heartache for those players. The Patriots were given a gift – the Bills played better except for those final 2 minutes.

Nosey reporters need to realize that players and coaches are human. Sometimes it’s ok to not say anything. Just like when the Cavs lost to the Magic in the NBA playoffs and the reporters made a big deal that LeBron didn’t stick around to talk. Hell I wouldn’t talk either. When you’re pissed you’re better NOT talking. All you do is provide ammunition to the reporters who aren’t really reporters just lasy TV talking heads.

As for TO going across the middle against the Bucs – I expect he will and unless the Bucs account for TO the Bucs will be burned and badly. TO is a great receiver and when it comes to a match-up between T.O. and Mack I’ll put $ on T.O. every day of the week.

Does that make me a bad fan? Hell no! But I will give credit where credit is due. I’m NOT a fan of T.O.’s antics but I won’t diss the guy because he produces.
