Pete Prisco Visits Bucs Training Camp

August 17th, 2009

Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com visits One Buc Palace and has some nice things to say about Raheem the Dream and Byron Leftwich.

Joe knows we live in the age where journalists have to master multimedia, not just writing. Joe was fortunate enough to be a trained photographer, but a bit of free advice to Prisco:

Hey Pete, when you are on camera, you have to look into the sun, not away from the sun. And you can’t stand half in the shade and half in the sun.

Sunglasses can’t be that expensive.

Wow, Lee, I mean Joe, you sure do nit pick.

Video is a visual medium. If you can’t see the guys’s face; the only guy in the video mind you, what’s the point? Just upload an wave file.

You might as well save a ton of cash (notice there has to be someone also shooting the video) and not send two people to Tampa.

If you have to shoot a talking head video, at least know the very basics of shooting video/photos. Back when Joe also shot photos, if he tried to turn in something like that he’d have his rear end chewed out.

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

Hey Joe maybe Pete should try a different color shirt as well, maybe something with vertical stripes to give him a “leaner” look?

On a different note – sounds like Pete’s giving the QB job to Byron – prophet or just common sense?
