Are The Bucs On The Horn For Joe Horn?

July 23rd, 2009

Buried in an item by Aaron Wilson of ProFootballTalk.com, in which unemployed wide receiver Joe Horn claims he wants to play for the Ravens, is a throwaway sentence where Horn’s agent Ralph Vitolo claims the Bucs could be vying for the services of the washed up receiver.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are another team that could be a link for Horn, according to his agent.

Joe considers this little more than posturing by Horn’s agent. Let’s be honest: Sure, Horn could wind up with the Bucs, just like Joe could win the lottery and could wake up to find Rachel Watson in his living room (which is the equivilent of winning the lottery).

Let’s just say Joe isn’t holding his breath that the Bucs will land Horn. This rumor was floated earlier in the year and Horn is still looking for work.

  1. Mr. Lucky Says:

So according to Horn’s agent the Bucs are interested in Horn?

Well since Raheem cut old-man-Galloway it only makes sense that the Bucs would be interested in old-man-Horn right?

    WRONG!

Once again an agent blowing smoke to create “buzz” for his client. Hey I wonder if that agent was smoking a Bucanero? Probably not because in order for the Ravens to believe the Bucs wanted Horn the Ravens would have to be smoking something much “stronger” than a Bucanero
