Son Of Bob Not Yet Confirmed For Minicamp

June 15th, 2009

Joe has learned through a trusted source that Son of Bob hasn’t been confirmed that he will attend mandatory minicamp this week at One Buc Palace.

That’s not to suggest Son of Bob won’t attend. It’s just that Son of Bob’s expected participation isn’t locked in stone.

Son of Bob has been in hiding since Chucky was canned as the Bucs coach. He has not been seen once at One Buc Palace for offseason workouts or OTAs since the Bucs regime has changed.

Earlier this spring,  (though the weather suggests otherwise, the calendar shows it’s still spring), Joe spoke with Son of Bob’s Pittsburgh-based agent Ralph Cindrich who explained that he was in negotiations with the Bucs on a possible trade for Son of Bob.

Not surprising that  no Bucs coach or official has even mentioned Son of Bob’s name with a potential starting gig with the Bucs this season.

Hey Joe what do you think about Griese playing in the new football league – maybe he can compete with Vick for the starting job on the Orlando team?

    Joe here,

Not a bad idea, Mr. Lucky. But Griese probably makes more in interest from his investments than they’d pay him on the new league. .. Just a hunch, I don’t think he’d beat out Vick. 🙂
