Sears Condition Remains “Private Matter”

June 4th, 2009

Bucs left guard Aaron Sears has been absent from OTA practices and the Bucs still aren’t saying why.

Raheem The Dream was cornered by the MSM today after practice and wouldn’t budge from calling Sears’ absence a “private matter,” reports the St. Pete Times.

Pressed for answers, Morris said, “We’re all concerned about Arron, but realistically, that’s really a private matter. I respect Arron enough to not even talk about that and just leave it as a private matter.

He added, “It’s a very private situation. That’s where we are now with it.”

Earlier speculation about Sears’ absence revolved around possible effects of a concussion, but with this kind of tight-lipped response, who knows? Literally anything is possible, and none of it bodes well for the Bucs.

Joe wishes Sears well.
