Former Bucs quarterback Jake Plummer now plays big time handball and reportedly is fleecing a high school football team in Idaho

This brief from the Idaho Statesman is horrendous.

Say it ain’t so, Snake.

Former Broncos-turned-Bucs quarterback Jake “The Snake” Plummer, now living in Idaho with his cheerleader wife, will be an assistant high school football coach near his home, the Statesman reports.

What stands out to Joe is the newspaper reports Plummer will be paid to help coach QBs and the offense.

Joe seriously hopes this is a misprint or just plain wrong.

Plummer made tens of millions in his NFL career. Crap, his MySpace page says he’s earning “$250,000 and higher” annually right now. If he needs to grab $50 a week or so from an Idaho high school, then he must have flushed away a ton of money and his professional handball career is tanking.

If Plummer hasn’t, in fact, squandered his fortune, and is indeed accepting money to coach the kids, then shame on him.

Joe’s willing to bet Chucky won’t take a dime for his upcoming high school gig.
