Warren Sapp is dancing to a different tune when talking about the Bucs these days

Mighty Warren Sapp, the future Hall of Famer, has plenty to say during his various media gigs.

Joe surely does not chronicle all of what flows from Sapp’s free-flowing mouth, but at times Joe will mention a Sapp gem.

The latest comes in a recent Q&A chat on NFL.com

Q: Which are you more surprised of, Tampa Bay cutting Derrick Brooks or keeping Ronde Barber?

Warren Sapp: Both. You’re telling me that the Bucs are about to lineup for the 2009 season without Derrick Brooks? They’ve lost their minds.

This is interesting considering in February Sapp said, “I raised Raheem from Day 1” [in Tampa] and the Bucs “know exactly who he is and exactly what he is.”

Joe guesses Sapp’s perspective has changed quite a bit since his buddy Brooks was shown the door.

id rather have sapp running the team..also i will now refer to Soldier Winslow as Officer Carl Winslow, until he plays a full season and makes pro bowl

  2. Mr Lucky Says:

Why refer to Winslow as “Officer”?

Did he stop and harrass a motorist on the way to the hospital? Oh I know he arrested a grandmom for j-walking right?

  3. Kris Says:

Officer Carl Winslow was the guys name title in family matters w/urkel..now that i think about,,Urkel could run this team better then dominik and Morris
