Broncos quarterback and nearly a Bucs quarterback via a three-way trade earlier this month, Jay Cutler, put his Denver house up for sale Thursday.

Joe doesn’t think this item means a hill of beans but it’s still enough to grab his attention:

Alleged frustrated Denver quarterback Jay Cutler, who apparently was on the Bucs radar to acquire in a three-way trade with New England recently, has put his house up for sale, so reports the NBC affilate in Denver, KUSA-TV.

9NEWS has confirmed that Cutler put his home in Parker up for sale on Thursday. He paid $1.34 million for the home and is asking for $2 million.

Cutler’s home is three years old, has four bedrooms and six bathrooms. It is 5,149 square feet and has two fireplaces. It also has a three-car garage.

Offseason workouts for the Broncos are scheduled for next week at Dove Valley, but there is speculation Cutler may not show up.

Again, this may not mean jacksquat. High profile people sell properties all the time at any time of the year. But Joe does find the timing of listing Cutler’s house more than unusual.

[UPDATE: Coincidently, KCNC-TV in Denver, a CBS affiliate, claims the house in question is not Cutler’s primary residence.]

Doesn’t Cutler have 2 years left on his current contract. Maybe he thinks it will take 2 yrs to sell. With the state of the economy currently.
