THE PESSIMIST: Tom Jackson Hates The Bucs

November 17th, 2008

This video will make any Bucs fan breakout in F-bombs.

Tom Jackson, longtime ESPN analyst, says the Bucs are “hard to watch” and the Bucs defense plays “pretty solidly.” Then he goes on to laugh at the Bucs and again say they are so hard to watch. Of course, Trend Dilfer, the king of offensive excitement, agrees with Jackson.

This is just further proof the national media does not want to see the Bucs succeed.

Jackson, of all people, was a stud linebacker for the Broncos. He should be glowing about the Bucs defense and all of Tampa Bay’s young talent and their aggressiveness that shut down Adrian Peterson.

In typical BSPN fashion, Jackson’s dissing of the Bucs will end the week before Tampa Bay plays at Carolina on ESPN’s Monday Night Football on Dec. 8. That week, the Bucs will be a team you have to watch.

    Jackson was a semi-stud linebacker

  2. admin Says:

Thanks, Tom. Joe knew that, but the fingers typed out otherwise.

  3. jimmy Says:

I don’t know why anyone would watch that garbage when they can watch the NFL Network’s pregame show. You can’t pay me to put up with three minutes of Chris Berman much less two hours. Horrible!

  4. admin Says:

It’s the postgames roundup, “The Blitz,” which is usually tolerable. But Jackson clearly can’t stand the Bucs, which makes no sense.

  5. jimmy Says:

    >>>It’s the postgames roundup<<<

Even worse. Again, why would anyone watch that garbabe instead of the NFL Network?

Anything with Chris Berman should come with a warning label.

  6. Crease22 Says:

ESPN is a joke. Is Trent Dilfer the best they can do? Jaworski is so much better. Bring back Jimmy the greek

  7. Chris Says:

Jimmy ‘the Racist’ I mean Greek…did those comments ever cost him!

Guess he wasn’t BRED to be a sports reporter!

  8. JK Says:

I aree with Joe on the lack of respect from Jackson. However, I believe it is more than just him. The Bucs have never been treated fairly in the national media since day one. I also fill that the league doesn’t give us a fair shake either. I think the league wants the high profile teams in the playoffs.

  9. Chris Says:

…or a team that can score TD’s in the RED Zone!

I’m the biggest Buc fan ever BUT we are a boring team to watch.

A Win is a win true…but if your not a Bucs fan a 13-10 game is boring to watch…especially if we don’t play as a team.

We won yesterday but did it in B-/C+ fashion.

NFL wants to showcase…a team worthy of showcasing…not this FG crap!
    Soccer is for KICKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
