Special teams wasn’t so special for Bucs backup fullback Byron Storer. He suffered a torn ACL in the Bucs win over Carolina Sunday and is out for the year, Rick Brown of the Lakeland Ledger reports.

Storer had started the three games while B.J. Askew nursed a bum hamstring.

If Askew can’t go Sunday night, don’t be surprised if Chucky uses Earnest Graham at fullback much like he did in the win over Carolina with Warrick Dunn at tailback.

There also is some buzz that former Bucs FB Jameel Cook could be signed soon.

I wonder what Cook has been up to? If game ready I’d sign him. He’s a decent blocker and from what I can remember pretty much stayed injury free.
