Joe’s Take: Get Galloway On The Field

He's running and cutting, so he should play. You can't flex when you're not on the field.

He's running and cutting, so he should play. You can't flex when you're not on the field.

If you watched the Bucs on TV yesterday, you saw a segment showing Joey Galloway working out on the field before the game.

The White Tiger was looking quick, starting, stopping, cutting, etc. And he was smiling.

Joe was pumped.

Today, Jon Gruden says at his news conference that his brother, presumably Jay Gruden, threw Galloway 100 passes on the RayJay field before the game.

Gruden says Galloway looks good and they’ll know more when they see him for real on Wednesday in practice.

Joe wonders, What the hell more is there to know?

Right now, Galloway can sprint around the field and help open up the offense. He’s got a foot injury, not busted ribs or a bum shoulder. He can handle one or two hits. Put him out there. All he’s got to do is run 20 routes against Seattle and it will help the team. It’s not like Antonio Bryant is shredding opposing defenses.

There’s not a reason in the world to save Galloway.

This should be Gallaways last season with Bucs he is injury prone we need a reliable deep threat. I beleive Gallaway will be back but we need him ready the second half of the season healthy not nicked up. we all saw how garcia was able to perform once he healed up and got some reps under his belt

You’re correct again tony. His days are numbered as a Buc. It will sound AWESOME to once again hear Gene D say “Garcia to Galloway down the right side for 45 yards!!!!”
