    Scouting scouting scouting sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. RealityCheck Says:

A lot of people have been saying these things. The Bucs are not close to being a good team, but if you say that, you’re told that you’re not a “true fan”. They have a bad offensive line, a bad defensive line, and just a few true play makers. Then there’s the coaching…

  3. Chef Paul Says:

Wow, that was pretty brutally honest. It really helped to gain a little perspective though.

  4. FLBoyInDallas Says:

Like I’ve said several times…this is a playoff team. In 2017.

Gonna take at least two more years of rebuilding. Anyone with eyes can see that. And firing Lovie won’t change a thing except to push back the playoffs to no earlier than 2019.

  5. RastaMon Says:

Even a blind man could tell you that….queerest chapter in Buccaneer history…

  6. RastaMon Says:

Firing Lovie will speed up the process…Lovie is either lying to the fans and team….or he can not see the ineptitude of his organization….I think it is both…Lovie has not moved this team forward by any measure…so losing/firing him will have no negative impact…actually it will cause a short term relief boost

  7. Buccfan37 Says:

I think firing Lovie now would get the Bucs in the playoffs before keeping him will.

  8. FanOfBucs Says:

    Great guesses, guys.

History suggests that Lovie is a winning coach. I’ll put my chips on history and not your guy feeling from the couch.

  9. FanOfBucs Says:

Gut feelings, Not guy feelings lol

  10. Buccfan37 Says:

History suggests a lot of things, most of it is just lies.

  11. Greg Says:

I dont know if I can stomach Lovie and his blank expressions for 3 more years.
I say get rid of him now before the season ends and start over now.
    The sooner the better.

  12. Greg Says:

Lovie is a waste of time

  13. RastaMon Says:

L&L walked into the Casino NFL…with a fat bankroll…and good credit line…these two are about to get a margin call and thrown out on the street !
Maybe some of you can rationalize this…but not me…..L&L are complete and total failures…Carolina….Atlanta…Baltimore….I feel for the guys that have to wash the uniforms

  14. SteveK Says:

C’mon you guys, unlike myself, you all wanted Schiano out of here. Personally, I felt a 3rd year was due to Schiano’s Tampa Opportunity.

Since then, we’ve played 6 games and we’re talking about firing Lovie? C’mon man! We need to give a coach ample opportunity, and not be 100% like the Raiders.

Schiano is being paid for this year, and the next two, which means Lovie will most assuredly get three years.

I honesty thought Schiano should’ve gotten a third year because of the Freeman implosion and MRSA. I felt our coach deserves one year with “his guy” at QB.

But , both feet forward with Lovie we go, I am looking forward to all the Defensive players drafted next year.

    GMC needs help.

  15. RealityCheck Says:

@FabOfBucs – Lovie was fired from the Bears after a winning season so I don’t know how much emphasis I’d place on history if I were you.

  16. Greg Says:

Cut your losses and star over

  17. knucknbuc Says:

Lol ppl think they’re going to fire lovie after. 1 year News flash it’s not going to happen. Barring us getting blown out by 30 40 points every game he will be here at the least this year and next. Probably was guaranteed at least 3 years b4 he even signed on the dotted line. People want to replace him now then when we hire a new guy and he sucks the next yearafter bringing in new players, changing offense and defensive schemes people are going to want to get rid of him too.

  18. Zam Says:

I take issue with when he says that these free agent picks were good pickups.

For the same money as Michael Johnson, Clinton McDonald, Josh McCown, Evan Dietrich-Smith, Brandon Myers, Dane Fletcher, Jenkins, and Oneill Cousins, that’s $32 million of cap room.

That’s enough to have kept Revis, Zutah, Penn, signed Michael Bennett back, and still have had $3 million, plus Alteraun Verner.

Think that team would be 1-5?

  19. Bucs Says:

If it was left up to you guys we will forever be a loosing team. Dungy wouldn’t have stood a chance if it was up to some of you guys. Let’s not replace Lovie we need to replace some of the fans. It’s frustrating, no dout, but give it some time. First year, only six games in, and you want a new coach? We should just let you guys coach and see how that goes. Bunch of dumb armchair coaches. Smh

  21. Buccfan37 Says:

SteveK… I didn’t want Schiano fired. I’d still rather have him over Lovie. If we would have kept Schiano I believe the Bucs would be playoff contenders by next year. Firing him was a usual stupid Buc management and media driven move.

  22. Joseph Mamma Says:

I personally don’t believe we’ll ever win a championship with Lovie, even if you gave him the next 20 years. Landry even stated, Lovie is not a championship level coach. These last six games are just proof of that. If you followed the Bear’s at all over his time there you kind of figured out they were going nowhere with him.

  26. Architek Says:

Lovie – Schiano or not the organization stinks to the scent of a 3rd world nation in respect to NFL terms.

  27. jdgrimmy Says:

Yea, I don’t get this whole notion that firing Lovie would only set us back. It’s not about the turnover, it’s about finding the right guy. And I don’t like the argument that people wouldn’t come here because of the rapid turnover. That maybe applies to longtime vet coaches. Otherwise, an NFL job opening isn’t a chance that comes along too often for up and comers or younger head coaches to pass up. The turnover happens because of bad decision making from the top. I’d rather them repeatedly try and get it right than just sitting on what seems stuck suck the least out of your previous choices.

  28. jdgrimmy Says:

    *to suck

  29. Buc1987 Says:

Who here got suckered into season tickets this season? I have a way to get a smidgeon of the money back for you.

I’ll drive all the way from Pasco county and meet you at Ray Jay. From there I’ll give you $25.00 dollars and a sign to hold up over the Buc players tunnel for me. Hold it up as they are heading to the locker room. Yell for Lovie when he gets nearby.

The sign will read : I Miss Schiano.

    Any takers?

  30. Buc1987 Says:

I guarantee you if they lose to the Viqueens at home. The sign will go over very well. You might have to pose for pictures with other fans like I did last year, about 100-200 pictures or so. I was mobbed by Buc fans, drunk off my ass, and got to take many pictures with young hotties. Which drove my wife nuts. It was the most fun I had all last season at Ray Jay.

  31. Fort Myers Dave Says:

Wow, Chris Landry made a good analysis of comparing the Bucs organization, the Raiders w/ Al Davis and building a bad house. Both organizations are constantly trying to correct problems the wrong way and are doing everything halfway thus not accomplishing anything for years and years. “The Bucs are not good, not even close to being good.” That is the most reasonable thing I have heard concerning the Bucs in a long time. Landry said the best case scenario was 5 or 6 wins if everything went well: well that was probably counting a win over the Rams and one from either the Saints or Panthers which means Landry is saying that the Bucs will be lucky to get 3 or 4 wins…. The talent level is bad. Great quote form Landry: “The Bucs have not built a good team in a long time; Lovie and Licht are challenged to build a good team because the job was not done under Dominick, Rah and Schiano; a lot of people did not do their job”. The rebuilding process has been ongoing so long, players have to held accountable as well as coaches. So damn true! Listening to Landry kind of helps clear the rose colored glasses. Landry says change again will just set the Bucs back a couple more years ala Al Davis and the Raiders. So I guess we suffer through 2 or 3 bad years and hope things get better under Lovie. Its gonna be a long process. Thanx for posting this Joe, its good to hear a voice of reason.

Team full of lazy, uninspired players looking at Tampa as a vacation.

  33. bob in valrico Says:

agree with greg landry but it goes back further to when glazers allowed chucky to push rich McKay out of town. he and his staff built a team with quality players and a system to groom backups to be starters.Chucky and
Bruce allen proceeded to stuff team with stiffs and compile a .500 winning
    percentage.

  34. buctebow Says:

The good news is the Bucs have needs everywhere, so best player available rules. Get a DE first, get a OT second, get an MLB third (that can cover), get a safety fourth (see ya’ Goldson and your salary), a guard fifth and then it doesn’t matter, because it’s a crapshoot in the later rounds.
