Kevin!! Great pick up!.. my focus was so on #3 and missed the best part of the video!. D showing blitz and aggressive ! Just watched our win in Philly 2002 on You Tube….forgot how crazy explosive our D-line was!… Hoping for the same!

Glad we got some practice in the rain. This illustrates two problems. First EDS needs to be playing RG and not Center. Remember the rolled center last year? Winston never had a chance for that ball. Marpet played great Center in the Senior Bowl and rain or no rain that ball would have gotten into Winston’s hands. Second, look how skinny Winston looks now! Remember what happened to Freeman’s play when he foolishly dropped his weight. Winston at 250 pounds can get off passes when hit. At this weight he’ll hit the ground like a rag doll. The OC needs to insist he put those pounds back to his FSU weight.

I had us taking Marpet in the draft mock to replace EDS, so I’m with you there. I think its a bad idea starting Ali at guard when he’s the better center on the team.

But I disagree about the weight point. Other QBs do fine at that weight…so let’s see if it works for or against him first.
The injury risk is there either way with this offensive line.
