Jets Still Shuffling QBs

August 21st, 2013

No matter what happens Saturday night in the Bucs-Dolphins preseason game, Josh Freeman will start opening day against the Jets in 18 days. But the QB situation isn’t so clear for New York.

Rookie QB Geno Smith has a bad ankle but will start against the Giants on Saturday night. This SNY-TV video below delivers the latest on the Jets’ QB mess. Joe’s rooting for Smith to win the job. The Bucs have to be able to beat a rookie QB leading a bad team on opening day. Right?

Both QBs suck. But I’d much rather go up against the known in Sanchez than the unknown in Smith.

^Agreed. Every DC in the league knows how to frustrate the Sanchize so I’d rather face him. Plus, as we saw against the Ravens backup QB in the first preseason game, the Bucs struggle against mobile QB’s and Smith is far more mobile than the Sanchize.

We does Buc Nation give a rats a$$ about the Jets pre-season and the battle for their QB……lesser of two evils……they’re both overrated and Bucs D will eat them up….
